The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

Home grown Islamists may hit US: FBI chief
Full Story

WASHINGTON -- The United States could be attacked by "home grown" Islamist terror groups, the FBI's chief has warned.

FBI Director Robert Mueller told the London Financial Times newspaper in an interview published Thursday that the United States could face attacks from "home-grown terrorism" very similar to the July 7 bombings in London that killed 52 people and wounded another 700, Mueller said.

When asked if the United States could face such attacks from "home-grown groups", Mueller answered emphatically: "Absolutely, it could," the Financial Times said.

Well, guess you now know the old maid granny.

Sure, I can sing and reach all the notes in the scale, but
people object to me singing them all in one word.

My singing would drive a man away......fast.

Only God has ever listened to me sing, and he more than likely has golden ear-plugs.

In the past few days, I have read of chemical, odd odors noticed in different places around the country.

In Salem, South Dakota, the residents of a small apartment building reported a noxious odor this past weekend. Five of those residents wound up in the hospital. One elderly woman died. Still no official determination of what they were exposed to. Investigation ongoing.

The media non-interest is very surprising to me.

It's slightly bizarre.

Well, Rosh Hoshanah began at sundown, and tommorrow Ramadan fasting commences. Not a bad time to rehearse remaining vigilent.

Seven Mile Bridge leading to lower Keys closed after crash

The Associated Press

October 03, 2005

The Seven Mile Bridge, connecting the Florida Keys, was closed Monday after a fatal tanker crash.

A tanker truck transporting gasoline was traveling south on the bridge around 5 p.m when the driver lost control and collided with a sport utility vehicle, causing a fire, said Lt. Pat Santangelo, the Florida Highway Patrol's spokesman.

The male drivers of the truck and the SUV died, while a female passenger in the SUV was air lifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami in serious condition Monday evening, Santangelo said.

Firefighters battled the blaze for about two hours before it was extinguished. The bridge will be closed at least until Tuesday evening for cleanup, Santangelo said

Do you recall the iman from the Denver area Mosque that I so disliked?

forgot his name, but it was about the Cuban prisoners, he was on the KOA radio, Rick Barbor show.

His answer to everything was that "Bush had never apologized to the muslims for all the wrongs done to them".

He said his sources of information was better than anyone else's, when Rich asked for his source, he was told that it was the Nation magazine (a hard commie, anti America site).

This iman hates America and all in it, except for the easy living that he gets from it, he has an ugly soul.

I can see him working to convert the kid that blew up in Oklahoma.

Lincoln Heights, Los Angeles, California, Woman's Torso found in the trash. Other parts were found on Friday, breaking news.

A shooter also shot a police dog today, as well as a Policeman, (I think on the cop). No name as yet, just
another man with a gun report.

From KFI radio news.

ARLINGTON

Fuel tanker explodes on State Highway 360

Arlington police are investigating an early-morning accident that ignited a 9,200-gallon fuel tanker and closed southbound lanes of State Highway 360 for more than six hours Sunday. The 18-wheeler exploded about 4:20 a.m. near the intersection of Avenue J after a collision with another vehicle. No one was seriously injured in the wreck, officials said. Officials originally closed all lanes of traffic, but all but the southbound lanes were open early Sunday. The southbound side of the highway was re-opened about 11 a.m. Police are investigating the cause of the accident. No charges have been filed.

Former State Senator Reaches Plea Agreement

MADISON, Wis. -- A former state senator charged in an illegal
campaigning and corruption scandal reached a plea agreement
Monday. Brian Burke, 47, is charged with 13 felonies and five
misdemeanors in Dane County Court.

(snipped)

The district attorney says details of the agreement will
be revealed during a hearing on Wednesday. Burke is charged
with misconduct in public office, tampering with public records,
and destruction of documents.

"The expectation is that Burke would, even with the plea, would
expect to face some pretty harsh penalties given the scale of
the charges against him,” said Jay Heck, executive director of
the Common Cause of Wisconsin. “But these pleas are reached
behind closed doors. So we have no idea exactly what will
happen."

Burke dropped out of the race for attorney general after charges
were filed. He used campaign money to pay legal fees.

Heck told News 3 he's not privy to the deal, but said he wouldn't
be surprised if Burke ends up testifying against the others.

Former state Sen. Chuck Chvala's trial is set to begin on
Halloween. Former state Reps. Bonnie Ladwig and Steve Foti,
state Rep. Scott Jensen, and former assembly aide Sherry
Schultz are scheduled to go on trial in February.

It's been 3½ since the six were charged with illegally
campaigning on state time.

This morning - - from a cave somewhere in Pakistan - - Taliban Minister of "Migration, Mohammed Omar, warned the United States that if military action against Iraq continues, Taliban authorities will cut off America's supply of convenience store managers. If this action does not yield sufficient results, cab drivers will be next."

Yep, it's getting ugly.
