The explosion happened at the courtyard near the George Lynn Cross Hall, Botany-Microbiology Building on OU's campus, which is west of the stadium, according to Sgt. Gary Robinson of the University police department. The explosion happened during the second quarter of Oklahoma's game against Kansas State. After the explosion, police set up a perimeter of several blocks and made fans exit the stadium to the east.

I dont see a cover up , just a lack of anything new to report since the last reports last night.
I'm not a chemist or chemical engineer, so I'm not really certain. I think it has more to do with completeness of combustion, and what the by products of the combustion process are. Black powder still produces white smoke, so much that battlefields were soon obscured once the shooting started, especially if artillery was involved. In the Spanish American war the Spainish had a big advantage in using the then new "smokeless" powder in their Mausers, while the US forces were still using black powder in their Krag-Jorgenson's and older Springfields (Regulars and Rough Riders had the Krags, National Guard units had the older single shot weapons). The Spainish, particularly their artillery could just shoot at the smoke, while the Americans had to see the muzzle flashes, which is not always all that easy in daylight.

I asked you to justify the lack of coverage on this story when other inconsequential stories (like Paris Hilton) get major play.

Yes my husband and child were there 4 blocks south and the police told them it was a power surge the whole day. They only knew the truth when I got thru to them on their cells.

Actually, some of us are concluding there is a problem because of the facts we know, and which are not being reported.

Personally I think the MSM is waiting for confirmation that it was a White Male Conservative Pro Life Christian Fundamentalist Republican. Now THAT would be news they would love to print. That story would have legs like the Bush National Guard story.
With most people, even being blown up with a big bomb will leave at least a charred wallet with some surviving piece of plastic. Assuming the bomber didn't deliberately leave wallet and ID at home.
the point is that we will never get the facts, if the media isn't asking any questions or providing any coverage. its that coverage, and those questions, that will drive authorities to get the facts out.

Stop being obnoxious . I've read and understood all I've seen here. So far the story gives me no indication of a wider plot or terrorist intentions . Thats my opinion , just as others have expressed theirs here .
