From Staff Reports
NORMAN -- An explosion near the University of Oklahoma's Gaylord Family-Memorial Stadium killed one person Saturday, OU officials said.

The explosion happened at the courtyard near the George Lynn Cross Hall, Botany-Microbiology Building on OU's campus, which is west of the stadium, according to Sgt. Gary Robinson of the University police department.

The explosion happened during the second quarter of Oklahoma's game against Kansas State.

After the explosion, police set up a perimeter of several blocks and made fans exit the stadium to the east.

Not only that but people will reconsider the stories of the OKC bombings. What will that do to Clintoon's "legacy"?

Now the Cowboy's defense is stinking up the joint. This MUST be related.

Naaahh. The Cowboys's defense pretty much stinks up the joint EVERY Sunday. Nothing to see here. Move along.

Two guys that assisted Moussaoui from Norman ended up in jail. One most of us knew from around town. Creepy guy with a beard so long he tied it -- used to seem him around campus and downtown -- haven't seen him since he was arrested after 9-11 and hope that holds.

I heard Helen Thomas got drunk at the OU game and took to lighting her own farts.

All of your points are good. I am sure the press has been told by investigators to back off - and while the first instinct of the press would be to hide any evidence of Muslim involvement, I don't think they know enough about it at this point to be hiding much of anything.

I am glad that the FBI has taken over (or that is what I gathered from the most recent reports). The big mistake during the DC shootings was to leave it in the hands of the incompetent and biased local authority, the dread "Chief Moose." Maybe they've learned from this and are not going to let the local equivalent of Moose take over again and let more people get killed.

Copycats? You must run with a strange crowd. I know of nobody that is willing to blow their @zz up, to get 15 seconds of fame. I am aware of some certain, uh Muzzies, that plan, coordinate, and do this. Methinks this media blank is to deny operational info to the folks that did this. I for one do not buy the lone firecracker story.

Yeah, Pilla is a bit light in the loafers himself, I think. Kind of a wimp. He looked like chump when that Fawaz Dhamra jerk got nailed.

I don't know about the flag. I'll look into that.

So, because YOU say so, we should just discount all those other official sources? (Including the statement from Dave Boren)

I've been wondering the same thing. I guess if you blow yourself up and don't kill anyone else you're just a suicide, unless it can somehow be proven that you intended to kill others, then you're a suicide bomber or an inept suicide bomber. This whole thing is really weird. I can't think of ever having heard of anyone killing themselves with a bomb, other than accidentally. Seems to me that it would be too risky, you might just blow off an important part but still be alive. I've heard of guns, pills, carbon monoxide, knives, poison, and jumping. But I've never heard of blowing up one's self.

LOL......a hajji after a suicide bomb becomes rare and gets well-done/crisp at the same time.
