Capitalism 'causes natural disasters' From: Agence France-Presse From correspondents in Caracas

October 10, 2005

VENEZUELAN President Hugo Chavez has blamed global capitalism for earthquakes hitting India, Pakistan and Afghanistan as well as for mudslides that have struck Central America and Mexico. On his weekly radio and television call-in program, "Hello, Mr. President," Mr Chavez said these catastrophes were nature's answer to the "world global capitalist model".

"This model is destroying the world. The world is in danger. Never has there been such disasters, hurricanes, droughts, torrential rains. Incredible! The world is dangerously off balance," he said.

Earlier yesterday, US television evangelist Pat Robertson, who caused ripples weeks ago calling for Mr Chavez' assassination, said the natural disasters pointed to the end of the world and the imminent return of Jesus Christ.

"These things are starting to hit with amazing regularity," Mr Robertson told CNN, remarking on the coincidence of a major earthquake that killed thousands in Asia on Saturday and recent killer hurricanes slamming the US.

Of course, natural disasters that happen in socialist and communist states are completely out of the ordinary and totally inexplicable.

Check out the amazing photos of Hurricane Castro to see that Marxism is a greater destructive force than any natural disaster:

"The world is dangerously off balance," he said.

After extensive analysis, I have discovered that the principle cause of this imbalance is the tremendous amount of petroleum which is being pumped out of Venezuela.

Chavez should stop delivering oil immediately.

Pat Robertson and Hugo Chavez finally agree on something, and what a shocker, they're both wrong.

Capitalism 'causes natural disasters'

We really should remember this the next time there's a global disaster and the world bitches at us for not forking over 10% of our GNP to bail a bunch of socialists out.

"Sorry gang...you keep saying we're the source of all evil in this world. You don't want the byproduct of our 'filthy capitalism'. You'll thank us later."

Even these days a South American Generalissimo can't institute dictatorship for dictatorship's sake. Needs an ideology, he picked socialism.

In one to two years he will manufacture a crisis, maybe an American "invasion," to declare dictatorship.

According to what I am hearing out of Venezuela he will do until the real thing comes along.

Chavez recently took over control of Venezuela's biggest food processor. You get three guesses as to why.

I am so pissed right now. I was on just on the phone with my father and we were talking about these natural disasters and my stepmother, who by the way is a lifelong Dem, said that with these natural disasters killing so many people God must be angry about something. I said okay. But then she said God was angry about the war in Iraq. Then I had to end that coversation. What is wrong with people these days. What is wrong with the Iraqi people having freedom or any other people for that matter.

Wonder what Mr Chavez is going to do in a few years when fuel cell technology is perfected and petroleum becomes the whale oil of this century?

Ok. That attribution, if correct, just dropped the IQ of this thread by about 50 points.
