Dirty Jobs Mythbusters
I like Dirty Jobs but I stopped watching Myth Busters because it takes so long for them to actually test the myth that you know is not true anyway...

The one I can't stand is that "The Office" show. That dude ain't funny in any way, and all his attempts are almost painful. I don't know where he came from or why he "exploded" on the scene, but there's a heck of alot of folks who are way funnier than he is.
Somebody musta owed him money or something.

I actually enjoy The Office - more because of the whole cast and not just the lead (his name fails me at the moment). They do the best job mocking corporate America. Don't get me wrong, I am a big fan of corporate America, but its not without its flaws.

Husband and I are totally getting into Family Guy and the Borat character on the Ali G show. We love to laugh, and by laugh I mean crying laugh together where you almost wet yourself. It is just not the same if we are not together.
We still like South Park. We like Bernie Mac and I am sure we will enjoy the Everyone Hates Chris by Chris Rock.
We both also love LOST. The only drama ever we have both liked.
I still like reality TV. He hates it.

Forget network TV. Watch HBO. Rome - Curb Your Enthusiasm - Entourage - Extras. All fabulous.

OH and I love NIP TUCK. Husband refuses to watch as should most people. It is just a sinister humor show trying to be a drama that a few of my gal friends watch also. We enjoy it. LOL

NBC's Surface seems to have sunk. It couldn't decide whether it wanted to be a kiddie show with the young lad befriending the sea creature or an adult adventure program. It didn't matter. It was bad.
Threshold seems to have disappeared from the line up, as well.
Lost lost me. It went from the sublime to the ridiculous. I'd hate to ever be a castaway with that dumb bunch of characters. By the start of season 3, they still had not searched the 'island', but they had built a couple of escape rafts, etc. They had no idea whether a booming, bustling city was on the other side of the island, because they were too busy fighting amongst themselves for the alpha-male position.
West Wing got moved to somewhere -- weekend, I think. It is so bad now, that no one cares who gets elected. West Wing probably won't see another full season.
Law and Order: Trial by Jury lasted some 6 episodes before it got yanked.
===
Next season, supposedly the new genre is live in the aftermath of the fall of the USA. Three or four such series are supposedly planned. Maybe the networks should review and study the aftermath of the fall of the major media.

I have really gotten to liking 'Bones' and 'House' on Fox. Both of those shows have been pretty good. Other than that, about the only thing I watch on TV is Battlestar Galactica and Stargate on Sci-Fi channel.

The whole premise of Kathy Griffin's show (at least the episodes I watched) was that she is only sort of famous and has to scrap to keep her name out there enough to keep making a living.
Don't get me wrong, there's only so long it's interesting to watch a show about the life of one person. It worked with Ozzy for awhile, but only because he's not all there and because the whole family was over the top.

I haven't watched either of those, but it just goes to show, there's stuff out there for everyone, even if we can all agree there's a lot of garbage :~D

She was funny on Seinfeld. I couldn't take too much of her though. A little bit goes a long way.

True. Also The Sopranos, Oz, Deadwood.

The only networks shows we make an effort to watch are
Two and A Half Men
Out of Practice
Boston Legal
The rest is in the dumper.

I've found Dog the Bounty Hunter to make educational, albeit painful viewing. An endless succession of drug-destroyed lives and drug-blighted neighborhoods. It's not so much entertaining as monotonously tragic.

"Monk" is (IMO) the best show on TV. And I was amazed to see a real Christmas Party in the SFPD.
