Right now the leader of Monday's boycott is on CSPAN. I heard it on CSPAN radion, not sure which channel.

The Latino vote is still largely potential. It won't be really significant intil about 2012, really an important block until about 2020. Those who wish to counter this must act now.

Yee of much faith, I'm sorry I don't agree. The GOP will cave, millions of people will receive what others have died for, paid tens of thousands for, and are dying and begging for.

The media has saved the Democrat minority, soon to be a majority.

Bush finally grew a pair on the issue of rewriting the national anthem and singing it in Spanish. He even came out and said illegals out to learn to speak English! Could this be a start? I doubt it. I think he'll continue to push his amnesty program.

Personally, I blame this whole mess on our universities (especially Berzerkly), who are teaching the teachers who teach our children, for the self-serving gift that keeps on giving known as 'Social Constructionism' and 'Cultural (and Moral) Relativity'.

I find it interesting that one never hears about the dialectical opposite of 'Social Constructionism' (pdf) [beliefs are caused by social interests rather than justified by evidence and reason], 'Essentialism' [the shocking idea that an external world exists independently of our representations of it; that there is a human nature given independently of 'social constructionsism'], obviously social constructionism allows socialists to ignore nature and facts and thereby see and attempt to create their own reality.

I'm not unconvinced 'social constructionism' isn't the result of excessive pot or LSD consumption, as it was developed in the '60s.

This is the foundation upon which 'gender studies' rests and which allows them to try to recreate gender in their own image while wrecking all kinds of other pathological havoc on society.

Our schools are damaging our children.

My impression is that this is going to backfire.

That would be nice, however we are seeing evidence that Rino's and the Leftist MSM are actually trying to incite violence.

Exhibit A - Arnold uses an LA Times article to publicize death threats against Latino leaders exactly 1 week prior to this boycott.

Exhibit B - Whorealdo Rivera is advertising his Monday program this weekend. The main topic is could these demonstrations escalate into something else ?

Gosh, I don't know... that's such a tricky question. Hmm...

This is enough to make one wonder if one would have the will and restraint to refrain from introducing hot lead to a knee cap, or a liver or worse...

I don't think I have ever been as pessimistic about our country as I am now.

None of the politicians seem to care about our country anymore.

The apathy of the American people is amazingly pervasive.

I would have thought that 9/11 would wake us up, but the MSM and Dems have so indoctrinated the masses that we may never recover.

They can stay home and then go back to Mexico.

If they take the day off, then the employer has every right to assume that they quit.

There will be another 10 Mexicans looking for that same job the next day.

Disgusitng image of typical illegals from Mexico !

Exhibit C - On local ABC TV here in LA we were shown a representative of the Nation of Islam who is joining the boycotter's.

Perhaps our best choice would be to direct our anger at those that caused this problem (our representatives in DC and the border states). Citizens need to increase their petitioning of representatives with their displeasure which actually prevented the early surrender to Mexico. Thus the May 1st insurrection was planned. What I was thinking about in jest the past few days, is how about an event in Baja Mexico attended by millions of Americans. While we are in Baja we could demonstrate about the abuses and lack of protections that foreigners receive in Mexico. We could call it Baja Invasion Weekend !

It was a wake up. And most people were still united going into Iraq. Then the left realized they could divide and counquer. It's been a treasonous downhill slope since then.

Automation will help for one thing, we still have a lot of people doing jobs that could be automated, but don't because it would put people out of a job. There are also advances in worker efficiency using technology to cover others.

For the ones that can't be further automated, or need to be done by humans, we literally have people who want to come here from every other country in the world. I see no reason why Mexico gets special treatment just because they happen to share a border. Especially when they are an immensely wealthy, wildly mismanaged country with a socialist and marxist government set up.
