Not this ONE, sorry but Teeny is out of her league here, really
Byron York discussed a poll last week that showed Republicans opposed Bush on immigration 52 to 40. So it is not a vocal minority here, it is a vocal MAJORITY.
Like I said, you are entitled to your own opinion. But not your own facts.
I see most of the insults regarding this issue coming from your side, CWO. As you have shown on this thread.
That's not opinion...we see it all the time here. TS.
Mental midgets - let's add that to CWOCivilitie's list of insults. Oh, and care to call Byron York a mental midget?
And show me where I have called the polls bunk, CWO. The polls show a majority of pubbies oppose Bush on immigration. As do conservatives in the Senate and the vast majority of the GOP House. Do you want to call the GOP House members mental midgets as well?
So who was right those who warned of the result of voting for Perot or those who insisted on doing so? Those who supported a President with more class in his little finger than the entire Clinton clan or those blindly following their pique voting for the Little Lunatic? Those who supported a President with a strong and comprehensive foreign policy who had just won a brilliantly executed war or those whose immaturity and blindness brought us a Traitorous PoS who sold National Security to the highest bidder and promoted Hillary the Hideous?
If you have read some of my posts you can clearly see I do not care one whit if I am outside the Politically Correct arena on issues and that I call a spade a spade. Voting or working in any way to increase the power of the Party of Treason is insanity whether you like that being said or not.
Great post (I'm taking my wife to Ruth's Chris tomorrow night too ; )
Did you take percentages in school...it might be pretty hard to follow along otherwise.
You folks try to talk major league but you bat bush league consistently.

Glad to hear it.
"The President and the Senate are acting as though they are caught in a political vice, but if they are, it is an INVISIBLE vice."
Another eloquent plea. I'm glad you've overcome the gloom to make another attempt. But, I'm sure you meant "vise" here, although "vice" may ultimately prove more accurate.
Classic misdirection. Don't forget, the likes of Bill O'Reilly never supported the WOT, though he might have claimed to whenever he felt it would keep his ratings level.
Though immigration is a real, ongoing problem which has been with us for decades, I find this sudden, strident, venomous interest in it from people who never made a peep during the eight years of the Clinton administration suspicious...especially since they claim to stand so strongly on principle. It looks agenda driven to an old, ulcer-ridden analyst like me.
It's like the "No Framable, Official Declaration of War!! Complete With Fancy Curlycues Around the Edges so It's an ILLEGAL POLICE ACTION" threads, which the Democrats shortened to "illegal war" rhetoric.
This thread, though mostly a stellar example of how people from opposind factions of the same side can attempt to make their points civilly has degenerated a bit in the past hundred or so posts.
That's funny. Last I checked, every pubbie in the House who is opposed to Bush on this won their last election.
Did you take percentages in school...it might be pretty hard to follow along otherwise.
If you are going to insult someone, it might be a good idea to not commit a major logical fallocy in the previous paragraph like you did here.
You folks try to talk major league but you bat bush league consistently.
Hmmm ... now you are calling the House GOP members bush league? Last I checked, it was the Dems and RINOs who were in the same league with Bush on his immigration agenda, with the conservatives opposed.
I'm about ready to break out the cheese puffs. Getting tired of popcorn...
Its been quite a show so far......
#2896 Excellent analysis--you did a very thorough job of articulating it. Thanks. Wonder who the sacrificial lamb will be. LOL only my heart aches.
It's pretty simple, actually. There is actual legislation on the table and Bush is pushing the Senate version over the House. Things tend to get quite a bit more heated when it goes from rhetoric to legislation. No conspiracy required.
LOL! Good try but your less then one percent candidates aren't GOP.
My plan is to convince the American people that their state and local officials need to work with Immigration authorities to enforce the law. If that is not available no plan will work.
I would like to see legislation ending the anchor baby syndrome. I would like to see Congress cut off funds to any state or city which will not cooperate with immigration authorities. I would like to see all criminal aliens immediately deported. I would like to see state-by-state civilian volunteers ala Minutement working under state or federal authorities patrol the border.
If building fences will stop the rampant GOP bashing that's fine but I have NO belief it will accomplish anything of significance.
But primarily I would work to remove the hysteria and false information being spread to attack the President. Only after the return of sanity can anything significant be done.
I stick to jelly beans myself...
