Oops, was that Band of brothers?
Pease excuse me, I was having a debate with nopardons, in which she threw many insults my way, I kicked her ass and she just vanished. A serious poster would have at least siad OK I can see your point, but I disagree. nopardons is not a serious poster, she is a "drive by poster".
Well, I didn't read your debate, but frankly if your tone during the debate was the same as your tone in that post I'm not surprised she "just vanished". That was hardly the input of a "serious" poster.
Please return to the most interesting debate in the Trouble ahead for the American middle class" thread. Thank you. Pretty please with sugar on top.
Ok, point taken, sorry.
Good rant.
I have noticed a lot of attacking around here on both sides of this issue. Everyone should re-think this. We should be discussing ideas and not attacking posters.
If you have no ideas to share, stay off the thread.
My mommy called it the tard cart, daddy the window-licker bus.
No OldFriend I will be voting in fear and trembling and praying to God that I am not voting for a globalist.
One thing we could do is stand up and tell them all that we know exactly what's going on and we reject it and the perfumed princes they place forward for nomination. We don't have to keep our heads in the sand, and we don't have to take it.
Our troops deserve the best. Are we giving them our best?
We train them to kill the enemy, then ask them to win the hearts and minds of a culture so ancient and inbred with hatred for each other and the infidel that it seems to be a mission impossible.
There is a way that it is possible, there are those citizens of Iraq that are sincere in their gratitude to the USofA, that want democracy. The only way to make that possible for them and not drown them in a decades long civil war, the way to success, is to leave them the only ones left standing in that nation. Even if that means collateral damage. Yet we seem to be over there giving as much respect to those that openly hate us as we do those that are hoping for a better future. There should be no Fajuta, only sand where it use to be, not a pot, nor a shard.
The thought of going to war with the United States should strike such fear and dread in our enemies that N. Korea and Iran would be trembling in their boots, not thumbing their noses at us. That is what we owe our troops.
In 2008 I hope the base will be demanding the Republican Candidate have no history of globalism, or designs on our sovereignty. It should be a question asked up front and an answer demanded of the candidate. We should make globalist a dirty word and a career killer. We could trust our troops in the hands of a Comander in Chief that actually takes his oath of office as more than a mere formality.
I didn't "vanish". Just because I didn't answer you, IMMEDIATELY, in the wee hours of the morning, nor get back to you today, doesn't mean that I either "gave up" or somehow should have acknowledged that you "won"; nor that I vanished. I actually have a life and you don't matter one whit in it.
A "SERIOUS" poster wouldn't get his knickers in a twist ( especially when he lost the battle ) and stalk a poster to another thread and spew the vile, spurious, patently ridiculous drivel that you just did.
There are rules. We meet the requirements.
And then there's the cultural requirements. The 9 year olds have to be able to talk the 7 year olds into experimenting with diddling on the fence, without killing the 7 year olds
