TOPICS: Politics/Elections; US: California; Your Opinion/Questions
KEYWORDS: ballot; ca; california; city; election; homosexualagenda; mayor; primary; sanjose; vote
My leanings so far...

Mayor; City of San Jose: Vote & Promote Michael Mulcahy. Give honorable mentions to Chuck Reed. Completely disparage all other candidates.
My reasons:
We need a Mulcahy/Reed runoff to see what differentiates them, which means boosting Mulcahy's numbers and tearing down Chavez's & Cortese's. It's a risk I'd be willing to take.
http://cbs5.com/topstories/local_story_143181340.html
Why?: "...gay marriage, the candidates endorsed the right for all who seek it. The differences were over how aggressive the city should be in recognizing marriages when they are not legal. Reed said he voted against the statewide proposition that limits marriage to a man and a woman, but he also voted against San Jose recognizing same-sex marriages because 'the people have spoken.'' The other major candidates were more comfortable with the city being in the forefront of pushing for legalization. 'There is no room for discrimination in San Jose,'' Chavez said."
Pandori and Chavez make the most disturbing statements against the will of the people on this issue. They want to be the new SF Newsome.
On marriage, Mulcahy sounds like Reed here: http://www.almadentimes.com/images/at_5_12.pdf.
Mulcahy may be concealing even more conservative sentiments. (The poor guy went from went from Republican to decline-to-state in our left-turning city.)

Measure K Fire Station Construction: No argument here. I'll probably vote YES.

I'll either vote for Reed or Mulcahy.

Reed is against Prop 82 and Santa Clara County Measure "A."

Cindy "Ron Gonzalez in drag" Chavez must not be allowed to win.

I chickened out at the last minute and just voted Reed for San Jose Mayor instead of Mulcahy. I heard Reed said he voted against the 1/2 cent sales tax increase, and a recent poll made it look like neither Reed nor Mulcahy would make second place, but Reed was closer.
