Humm. He ends with 1967 War, but should it be 1968? There is a book now on 1968 nqand, if you don't understand the significance of the date, I recommend it. Because what we are doing, now is replaying that whole scenario. We punted and appeased in meaningful ways at that time, and our mistakes have surly borne fruit. Now the same actors, activists, revolutionaries and clintonits ae giving us another bite at the apple. Let's make some cours corrections. It's called satanic. Those of us who know the bible and have a relationship with God know why. Without a scriptural lecture here are the 3 reasons:

1)God knew this and said that when two people were born that one would follow the way to peace while the other would war against Israel up until our time. This prophecy was and is continued to fulfilled today being called "trampled on by the gentiles" but it doesn't last forever.

2) The apostle Paul said we wrestle against principalities of darkness. Those not spiritual wrestle with the logic of how nations borders and boundries are formed yet how these common logical rules don't apply to Israel as this article talks about. This is not about logic, it's the supernatural. The devil hates God and hates Israel. Israel at times rejected God and He removed His protection until it was prophecied that Israel would become a nation again. Israel continues to get trampled on by the gentiles (or simply nations)but not destroyed as in times past, until one last final battle (Armeggedon, a regional war that involves Russia, Iran, Syria, and a couple of other smaller Middle Eastern countries where Israel nukes it's enemies).

3) The bible says that the devil misleads the entire inhabited earth. Those with any sense of reason can't argue this fact, specifically pertaining to Israel. Israel has done more for this world then almost any other nation on earth in terms of technology & finance since they were formed sixty years ago, yet as a people they are hated and despised by other cultures who normally respect nations that lead civilation advances. The devil is a liar and has built a lie that Israelis are lower then animals. The earth's governments as a total meaning the UN believe this lie and spreads it. So indeed, the entire inhabited earth has been misled. Revelations says that Israel is helped by the great eagle and carried away for a time so the enemies of her don't destroy her. I assume this relates to the USA support because without us the fledgling Israeli country could not have survived. Now they can stand on their own.

I thought this the most stunning paragraph. Not "stunning" as in surprising. I've had the same thought myself. (This happens all the time when I read Steyn.) But so exquisitely stated, and so little remarked by others. (Emphasis added.)

There's a very sharp short book by Andrew Roberts called Hitler And Churchill: Secrets of Leadership and, as you go through it, you realize that the key difference between the two is that the prime minister had a very shrewd understanding of what the Führer was like and the Führer had absolutely no clue about the prime minister. Think of the trillions of dollars, and untold thousands of lives, the Arab nation has poured into the half-century long Jihad (/ Hissy Fit) against Israel. Think of the difference if but a fraction of that money, and the smallest fragment of all that obsession and energy, had been devoted to bettering their own lot.

Hell, think of the difference that could have been if the Arabs only refrained from trashing, destroying, profaning, refusing, etc, the things that the Jews built for them! The Universities of Gaza and The West Bank; the schools; the electricity, sewers and water works; the vastly improved housing (which the Jews were often not allowed to build as it might have shamed the Arab nations which kept their Palestinians in squalor, as for instance Lebanon which prevented the "refugees" from bring so much as cinderblock or sewer pipe into their camps lest they improve their own lot even slightly); the greenhouses which could have formed the basis for a vibrant Gaza economy, etc, etc, etc, etc.

This may be. Forget that. Unquestionably is... The deepest and longest outbreak of mass insanity and self destruction human civilization has ever known. (If you can call that "civilization".)
