It’s hilarious to see how often Morning Joe repeats whatever the TODAY show has on first. Today it was Wolfson and the Obama spokesman. Made me laugh later when Brokaw was on Morning Joe and repeated some comment Wolfson and the Obama spokesman had made earlier. Brokaw told Joe that earlier they were on The TODAY Show, not knowing, I guess, that they followed their TODAY gig with what seemed like a do-over on Morning Joe. Joe didn’t bother to let Brokaw in on the joke.
I might just watch the debate tonight. Just got a hunch there might be some fireworks.
I might watch if Gravel shows up. He's always good for a giggle.
Read on an earlier thread that he was not invited to attend tonight. Someone pointedly asked if we could uninvite Ron Paul to our next debate, LOL.
Not a bad idea.
Joe says “hillary got hammered by all the men”. It would be more accurate to say Hillary nailed herself, by playing word games with non-answers.
She out and out messed up when confronted about Bill asking the archives not to release her emails during Clinton’s presidency.
Edwards went after Hillary big time. He sounded like a southern gay guy doing it, but he did it.
Prying my eyelids open and good morning, ya’ll.
LOL. Joe says that Republicans talking secretly among themselves are scared of Hillary getting the nomination. LOL.
No Republicans worth knowing talk to Joe, I’m sure of that.
MSNBC working hard this mroning to pretend there is a real contest on the dem side.
Msnbc held the debate and has the footage but hasn’t shown any clips for some reason. They relied on Russert and Mitchell to tell us about Hillary’s double-talk about the NY driver’s license issue.
The Morning Joe crew agrees, Americans are really racist and sexist.
These people are disgusting.
"That woman" kept attacking George Bush while they were snipping at her heels. I thought she's gonna a tough opponent for us. Pretty quick on her feet and didn't get rattled by all the shots she was taking. She did flip-flop like a John Fn Kerry though but she was smooth about it.
This morning's analysis is interesting. Mourning Joe crew is praising her. But CNBC's reporter wasn't so flattering. They were joking about Dennis Kissinich's UFO beliefs and Bill Richardson's Roswell Truther stand.
The she stood up to all those men attacking her sounds like a "you better not attack a female" talking point for the republican nominee.
YaYa, the Breck Girl did act odd last night. A lot of blinking eyes and deer in the headlights stare. He's so gai.
Happy Halloween although I thought it was last night on TV. :)
Osama and Edwards hit her on the energizing the republican voters issue. That’s one she’s vulnerable on but the Dem Party machine is in high gear now and I don’t see anyone derailing it.
Surprising and most welcomed but not to Mz. Hillary who, according to Drudge, is complaining about Russert's tactics. If the heat is too much for her from NBC's liberal moderators, I can't wait until she faces the GOP nominee.

PHILADELPHIA - - We now know something that we did not know before: When Hillary Clinton has a bad night, she really has a bad night. In a debate against six Democratic opponents at Drexel University here Tuesday, Clinton gave the worst performance of her entire campaign. It was not just that her answer about whether illegal immigrants should be issued drivers licenses was at best incomprehensible and at worst misleading. It was that for two hours she dodged and weaved, parsed and stonewalled. And when it was over, both the Barack Obama and John Edwards campaigns signaled that in...
Wish I could have stayed up till the end. Wouldn't want to be Bill this morning.
CLINTON INNER-CIRCLE BLAME ‘UNFAIR’ MODERATOR TIM RUSSERT. ‘HE BORDERED ON THE UNPROFESSIONAL,’ TOP HILLARY ADVISER CHARGES. ‘HE BROKE DEBATE RULES AND WAS BELLIGERENT’...
And from the N.Y. Post. HILL TRIPS OVER SPITZ DEBATE
Good morning. Hope you all have Goggle stock :)
How exciting and unusual. Pat Buchanan will be a guest this morning.
A day without Pat Buchanan = MSNBC would go black
Pat Buchanan is such a tool. Michigan, he says, is made for Obama because it has such a large black population.
Give it up, guys. The nomination is Hillary’s.
(Whoever advised her to go for the merry laugh to try and convince people that she had a personality is probably trying to swim with cement overshoes.)
We are now being told that a Hillary presidency doesn’t really scare conservatives.
Has Joe lost patience with Mika? He seems to be making snide remarks to her whenever I check into the show.
Having just heard him make fun of her for complaining about people "yammering" on Cable tv, which is what she does for a living, I would have to vote yes.
Chris Matthews saying not nice things about Hillary. Says she can’t keep playing the little girl who has no control over her records if she wants to be president.
Then he takes Mika on for the yammering comment. (If anyone fits the term “yammering”, it’s Matthews.)
You caught that too. While discussing this story,

WASHINGTON (AP) Several hundred U.S. diplomats vented anger and frustration Wednesday about the State Department's decision to force foreign service officers to take jobs in Iraq, with some likening it to a "potential death sentence."
Mika thought thye were right and Joe commented that they could resign in protest and work at Walmart or someplace which prompted Mika to have to say that she didn't support what they were doing. Deja Vu from the Democratic Debate.
Speaking of the debate it continues to be a topic of discussion.

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clintons (D-N.Y.) top advisers, doing damage control after the candidates debate performance Tuesday, told supporters on a conference call Wednesday that the campaign needed more money to fight back. Mark Penn, Clintons senior strategist and pollster, and Jonathan Mantz, the campaigns finance director, told the supporters on the call, which The Hill listened to in its entirety, that they expect attacks from Clintons rivals to continue, and she will need the financial resources to deflect their attacks. Clinton came under withering assault in the Philadelphia debate, and some supporters on the call agreed with analysts that she...

Hillary Rodham Clinton yesterday refused for a second straight day to say whether she supports or opposes Gov. Spitzer's controversial plan to let illegal immigrants get driver's licenses - as leading rivals in both parties battered her for failing to give a straight answer. Republicans mocked Clinton for waffling after she provided a series of vague and confusing answers when asked about Spitzer's plan Tuesday at a Democratic debate in Philadelphia. "She was being attacked all night for taking different positions in front of different audiences, and then by the end of the night, she took different positions in front...

Listen Barack Obama, John Edwards and all you other soon-to-be also-rans, lay off Hillary. She's well on her way to winning the nomination and we don't want anything to stand in her way...
Three top stories you probably won't hear on Mourning Joe.
And we won't even go into this one Shocking Inside DC Scandal Rumor: A Media Ethics Dilemma. (yet!)
Maybe Joe is very short with Mika because he reads the comments he gets about her in his e-mail...Plus, she’s annoying with juvenile comments like, “you’re an idiot, come on, oh you guys.”
I actually know a woman who loves Hillary and intends to vote for her. I try to avoid that woman...
If there is a scandal brewing, I’m waiting for Drudge to report it...
Good Friday morning, all.
Calendars marked for the return of the Iman on Dec. 3?
Will he change his “brand” I wonder.
Imus is back!!!! Yahooooooooooo
The “tell” will be if he still calls Hillary “Satan”.
I noticed that Charles is due back with Imus but no mention of Bernard so far....
LOL. Joe says that AIPAC will, now that Obama has written a piece about how he will engage with Iran, start writing checks for HILLARY CLINTON!
Really! They will suddenly think Hillary is a friend of Israel?
Okay, lots of hilarity this morning. Mika thinks that we should discuss all of our interrogation techniques in public. How blond of her.
Morning Joe Lineup 11/2
- Documentary Filmmaker Elisabeth Haviland James
- NBC’s Tiki Barber
- CNBC’s Lawrence Kudlow
- MSNBC’s COURTNEY HAZLETT
I wonder if newsbusters will pick this up. According to that idiot Scarborough no one is rushing to the microphones to talk about success in Iraq because they don’t really know why it’s better and also that it’s not that we are really winning, it’s that al-Qaida lost by being mean.
Get that, folks, we don’t really know why things got better in Iraq (although Gen. Petreaus has explained it in detail), and we didn’t really win this anyway, had nothing to do with it.
Appropriate that the “O” in his logo has big old stains on it.
Well glory bee! John Fund told a national audience (even the tiny MSNBC one), that illegals getting drivers’ licenses means they get voter registration cards. And dumb dumb Joe saying he hadn’t thought of that ramification.
BULL HOCKEY DOO DOO! Allowing illegals to vote is # 1 priority of Democrats....just ask Al “Re=inventing Government” Gore!!
And finally someone said Hillary doesn’t need 50% to win.
Obama on TODAY first. He’s just such a patsy! won’t tell it like it is
I’m listening to Obama now on Schmoo (I couldn’t remember what channel Today was on, it’s been so long since I’ve seen it), and his position sounds no different than that of the Administration.
He repeats the false story of Bush and Cheney rejecting Iran’s offers of help in Iraq.
Joe's stated that most of the young Iranians want to be more like us. I agree. Just how leaving the Moolas in charge is going to accomplish that?
I saw a clip of President Bush yesterday finally taking it to Congress for doing what MoveOn.org and Code Pink want instead of what is right. That made Speaker Pelosi have to come out from her hole and respond. My only question is why did it take so long Mr. President?
David Hinckley...”Don Imus is returning to radio”...Friday, November 2, 2007...NY Daily News
Don Imus is officially back. Now the real fun begins. Imus remained silent, as he has since April, fueling anticipation about what he will say.
“I think his intent is to let it all out during that first show,” said WABC program director Phil Boyce. “It should make for very interesting radio.”
Imus’ 6a.m-10a.m. WABC show, which will be syndicated nationally, replaces the successful Curtis Sliwa and Ron Kuby show. Boyce said, “The opportunity to get a host like Imus is just something you can’t pass up.”
Imus will be joined by his longtime sidekick Charles McCord. Boyce declined comment on whether controversial producer Bernard McGuirk will be part of the show. There have been reports McGuirk will return at first in a nonspeaking role.
Boyce said Imus should bring more advertising to WABC. Imus’ show reportedly earned up to $20 million at WFAN - almost as much as all of WABC.
Boyce said Sliwa will remain at WABC in an unspecified slot. Kuby said he was told Thursday not to come in Friday.
Oh IMan. Don't get our hopes up and then let us down.
I expect Imus to unload on Hillary with both barrels.
I watched Chris Matthews on tonight’s HARDBALL interview Bush speech writer, Michael Gerson. Matthews totally exposed his hateful, untrue beliefs of Bush and Cheney, and this guy let him get away with way too many speeches. But..
this guy did the best job I’ve heard of debunking most of Mattthews’ stupid rants. I recommend watching the replay and or reading the transcript.
Gerson’s book, “Heroic Conservatism” sounds like a good one
We’ll all be listening to see if Imus goes after Hillary and his former liberal guests who didn’t support him. It’s possible all those Democrats he used to have on are calling him now and asking him if they can come back on...
I read this (in the WaPo?) the other day, McGruff. Poor Babies! I always enjoy your pointing out these articles.
“Ron Kuby Speaks Out On Imus’ Return To Radio”
Says Imus Was Rewarded For Racial Remark...WCBS TV...
“One of the odder aspects of this is that Imus makes a racist comment, and the damage is done to a civil rights lawyer,’’ Kuby reflected one day after he was canned at WABC-AM, abruptly ending a successful eight-year morning drive-time run.
“He gets my job, and I’m told about the high price he paid,’’ Kuby continued, his voice rising in disbelief. “He’s paid? What about me? The press release ought to say, ‘Ron Kuby has paid a high price for Don Imus’ mistake.’ He gets $20 million, an eight-month vacation and my job.’’
“Perhaps a Boor (or a Bore), but Imus Makes It Work”
“If, as rumored, hell return with a black co-host, maybe hell get the contemporary ground rules right next time.”
Monday, November 5
Joe is joined by Willie Geist and Mika Brzezinski
- CNBC’s Charles Gasparino author of “King of the Club”
- Creator and host of “Inside the Actors Studio” James Lipton.. also author of “Inside Inside”
- CNBC’s Erin Burnett
- MSNBC’s COURTNEY HAZLETT
Good Monday morning, all.
Hoping Mika is out sick.
Yaaay, neither Joe nor Mika is there. The bad knews is that the disgusting David Shuster is on the set.
David is on the set - my stomach is not strong enough..... who is Jenna?
Green NBC/MSNBC! LOL
Soooooo silly, proving (If we needed it), that the looney MSM is in the pocket of the looney left. Style over substance, their mantra. We watched in disbelief last night as Sunday night football turned down the lights for their after game show. Their effort to save energy. Good grief!!
Listened to a little WABC to check my radio car AM radio reception. Not real good. May not be ale to listen to a lot of Imus.
The good part was that Ron Kuby wasn’t on. Curtis and Mike Simon were discussing this N.Y. State drivers licenses for illegals fiasco. One of them made the point that drivers licenses for illegals are a precedent for voting for illegals and the Clintons may be behind that. Kind of makes sense now.
McGruff, there is no doubt in my mind that the Clintons are behind that. None.
