The Corner is reporting that John Kerry will hold a news conference at 2PM to discuss his recent comment.
When John McCain rips a fellow Senator like this (below) we know that Kerry has stepped in it big time (Senators usually show a great deal of deference to each other):

McCain Calls on Kerry to apologize (via Drudge)
Senator Kerry owes an apology to the many thousands of Americans serving in Iraq, who answered their country's call because they are patriots and not because of any deficiencies in their education. Americans from all backgrounds, well off and less fortunate, with high school diplomas and graduate degrees, take seriously their duty to our country, and risk their lives today to defend the rest of us in Iraq, Afghanistan, and elsewhere.
They all deserve our respect and deepest gratitude for their service. The suggestion that only the least educated Americans would agree to serve in the military and fight in Iraq, is an insult to every soldier serving in combat, and should deeply offend any American with an ounce of appreciation for what they suffer and risk so that the rest of us can sleep more comfortably at night. Without them, we wouldn't live in a country where people securely possess all their God-given rights, including the right to express insensitive, ill-considered and uninformed remarks.
He must have figured out that Rush's show still has one more hour left.
He's quaking in the green room, asking if Limbaugh is done with his show yet.
My cats are smarter than Kerry is.
I think we should embed his ass in some front line squad doing night patrols....forget that he would get everyone killed then have a book written about his survival skills.

He will say that the remarks were directed at Bush and his Iraq war policy.
Limbaugh should announce that he's going to do a fourth hour for his 24/7 subscribers. It won't reach the broadcast listeners, but he can still put up the transcripts later.

I think after this is over (the press conference), you should start a separate thread and we should start a petition demanding that Kerry step down from that Committee.
You're right - he's clearly not patriotic enough to serve on that committee. And yes, I DO question his patriotism.
