Well, usually, if I wait long enough, somebody will say what I want said, and bring the topic to a head. Not this time. I've had it with waiting.

Kerry joined the Navy in 1966. You usually join for a 6 year hitch. He got an Honorable Discharge in 1978. Is there anybody out there with any power that has a problem with that? What happened to 1972?

I have written every news organization I can and sent e-mails to reporters until I give up. I went down each show on Fox News, even Cavuto. Nothing, Nada. I wrote the Swift Boat web site and asked them to bring it up in one of their interviews. Nothing.... I don't get it. If I were a hard hitting news reporter that had a chance to interview Kerry, That would be the first question out of my pie hole. The second, of course would be about signing a "180". The third question, just for grins, would be to ask which 7 Senators he voted to assassinate in the VVAW. I have sent the PDF file of the FBI report that shows he was there at that meeting when they took the vote.

Any ideas on how to get this looked into? Before you know it, he will have a committee looking into his 2008 run. He needs to be squashed yesterday, not 4-8 years from now. He should be impeached for treason, if it turns out he got a dishonarable discharge and Carter gave him a "Get out of the Dumpster" pass.

I can't beleive this guy has made it this long, but hey, it's Mass. They have Kennedy and Fwank also. It must be in the water.

I actually have two.

I took a short. That means that I was honorably discharged after one year of a three year enlistment and raised my hand the same day for another three year enlistment. I was given a DD214 that covered my service up to that point. I was given a moderate reenlistment bonus and got to choose my next duty station, in this case the Republic of Vietnam.

I stayed in the RVN until my DEROS and was given another DD214 when I processed out at the Oakland Army Terminal that covered the rest of my service. I was also given a draft card then for some reason.

Occasionally a petty bureaucrat will have difficulty understanding why I have two separations from service and I had one bozo at the post office call me a liar.

I don't think officers get an 'Honorable Discharge'. They 'Resign their Commission'. That time might include Naval Reserve as well.

I have to admit, I am not sure how this stuff is supposed to go. I was in a bit of a snit when they kept sending me crap that said I was a Reserve Officer when my DD214 had al zeros in the right upper corner and I kept throwing their mail in the trash. I think after a couple years they finally sent me a letter saying I was no longer a Reserve Officer because I had never answered their mail. I may had an Honorable Discharge, I don't know. My wife may have gotten it and filed it somewhere or something. I got out in '94 by '96 I really didn't care about the whole thing. (Even though I worked for the Army as a civlian).

I have most of this info and have sent it. I learned through this thread that Harvard may know something. It seems again, easy, to ask Harvard to produce what they know. If they verified Kerry didn't meet their standard the first time, then we got him. Even if they don't say why he didn't qualify, we got the ball rolling. But who will ask? The Globe? Nobody cares except for a few patriots. This charade will go on for a few more years and he will retire with pomp and circumstance.

This kinda stuff looks like right up Drudge's nose. If Malikin, or Anne Coulter or Limbaugh does it, they will get pooh poohed. It needs to be main stream and believable.

If the Dems take the Senate, maybe my Senators will be more willing to bring it up. They aren't now. They have the attitude of don't touch it. One didn't even reply to me, for the first time! She has replied on every other contact but this one.

I've given thought of running myself, but mine are all Republicans. I would stop illegals, impeach judges at the drop of a hat, and send death squads around the world to give Columbian neckties to the people we are at war with. I believe if you declare war, the enemy should die in great numbers. I don't understand fighting wars where some people are immune. Try to imagine WWII where Himmler and Goering and Tojo were off limits. These guys preaching "Death to Jews and USA" are preaching Sedition. Kill them and move to the next one. A cluster bomb at some of these flag burings would help us in future battles. If we can see it to film it, we can see it to put a MOAB downtown.
