I have no clue how military ballots are handled, sorry.

Fairfax County still has one more absentee precinct to report in, Richmond has two plus two "real" precincts. That's got to give Webb a few thousand more votes.

Can we PLEASE trade Fairfax & Arlington counties to MD for the Eastern Shore? Please?

The district count went from 2423 to 2425 and netted 4000 votes to Webb's tally. WOW!!!

Hey, I wouldn't complain. Give Maryland our headaches and we steal all their crabs. :)

I hate to say it, guys, but I think I hear a rather rotund female warming up in the lobby. To trot out an analogy that George's father would've used, it's going to take a Hail Mary. Whether that's the prayer or the football play is your choice.

That would mean those districts had 100% turnout.

Smell a RAT.

LOL!!!!!

Maybe the more conservative Maryland lower shore folks will counteract the liberal lower Virginia shore folks........

That's 100% turnout and 100% of votes to one candidate.

Yeah, right.

It was Fairfax County Absentee precincts reporting, as said in previus post.

Fairfax County absentee ballots.

Central Absentee Precinct ( C008): 2433 Allen, 4708 Webb, 62 Parker, 14 write-ins
Central Absentee Precinct ( C010): 2766 Allen, 4157 Webb, 53 Parker, 10 write-ins

There's your 3600-vote swing. Fairfax (60% Webb) still has one absentee precinct, Arlington (70% Webb) has one, Richmond (73% Webb) has two. The absentees have already been counted in most Allen-friendly areas. That's why I'm feeling pessmistic...that and it's 12:30 in the morning and I'm bloody EXHAUSTED.

Allen campaign contacted Fox saying their numbers are wrong and that the allen campaign is up 5-6,000 votes.

I'd love to know where they got those numbers. That means he's got probably at least 10,000 votes in hand somewhere...military? Maybe those don't show up on the SBE website.

They said the office/state/city (not sure which) shut down and quit counting.

I'm guessing they are waiting until the morning to finish counting. This came across fairly quickly and I barely caught it.

We've still got the absentee VA Beach precinct, which I would guess would be Allen votes from military personnel.

You know, I didn't hear Sen Allen say one time anything about Social Security taxes. I can almost guarantee you that the Dems will try their best to raise those taxes and the cap that goes along with them. They will say Social Security has to be saved, and we taxpayers have to pick up the slack. This exercise just might occur.

Also, if they even try to raise income taxes on the 'so-called' rich, they damn well better have the starting point of those raises beginning with the starting salaries of all members of Congress. One other thing, they better make sure the middle class gets an income tax cut, and that corporate income taxes be cut. I know, I know. It ain't gonna happen.
