Hey, in case anybody's interested, update from the SBE...
Office: U.S. Senate
Precincts Reporting: 2439 of 2443 (99.84%)
Registered Voters: 4,555,672 Total Voting: 2,365,081 Voter Turnout: 51.92 %
Candidates Party Vote Totals Percentage
J H Webb Jr Democratic 1,171,813 49.55%
G F Allen Republican 1,164,767 49.25%
G G Parker Independent Green 26,160 1.11%
Write Ins 2,341 0.10%
View Results by District Locality Total: 2,365,081
Four precincts left--Fairfax City, Isle of Wight County, James City County (2), all absentees (I think). Webb by 6900. Unless there's some votes that aren't showing up on the SBE website, I don't think Allen's going to make 6900 votes up off those four precincts.
