I live in Arizona. Now I will tell you the irony about this. From what I have been hearing Mitchell was elected because he ran as being stronger on stopping illegal immigration. I guess the voters in that district figured Hayworth had enough time to prove himself, so were hoping for a stronger respresentative in that respect.

~LOL~ I was just making meatloaf and watching the out takes of todays pathetic hearings with McCain and it came through my head....hmmmm JD can run in four years against McCain.... finally we could get a strong candidate and get rid of him once and for all in the primaries.

Thanks for the propaganda. I believe you should take to democratunderground....or in the closet democrat.

Your trying to talk sense to him?!? Hitting a cement wall with a wood baseball bat would have more effect.

"Poll after poll after poll has indicated the American people don't want amnesty for illegal invaders, yet you do."
It's not just polls. My personal experience with Americans of Hispanic ethnicity are overwhelmingly against the illegal invasion. Only those that benefit from illegals or those still loyal to Mexico, for who knows why, disagree.

The government broke faith. The government must first restore the faith of the citizens. That means a reinforced and patrolled barrier and serious enforcement against those who are actively employing them.
Once we have a better picture of the situation, we can determine how many workers we actively need. We can also pull from cultures other than Central and South American, they do not deserve special privilege just because they happen to have a land border.
Personally, I don't want a guest worker program. Not just because it won't work. I want people who want to be Americans. There education and skills don't matter very much to me. Also if we have people sitting on welfare, we don't the immigrants as much as we need the bums to work.

That's my experience also.
If somebody or their relatives came here legally, paid the cost, waited in line, WHY would they want to suppport other people who are trying to line-jump?
It doesn't make sense and the polls bear it out.
The only people pushing this are the Dems who see more votes, and the Repubs who are pandering to business interests.

Dane,
Please crawl back in your hole or join the other side. You are in the minority here, and will stay so.

"I feel like putting up a sign at the borders, unless you vote conservative turn around."
Your verbage is extremely kind. I would be a lot more blunt.

She wasn't in charge - the Repubs were and they took the heat.
Now the ball's in her court.
The average American voter is FAR less sophisticated than you or I on these things.
Most of them didn't even know who Pelosi is, let alone her voting record. They just knew they didn't like what was going on down there and wanted it to stop.

Please crawl back in your hole or join the other side. You are in the minority here, and will stay so Huh tell that to J.D Hayworth who in his last three elections won with 60% of the vote, but when he jumps on the loud mouth deport them all bandwagon, he loses to the democrat.

Illegals are not the only issue. Of course it is to idiots like yourself who could care less if we protect our borders.

(Dane) Trolling for ZOT, are we?Dane's not going to get zotted, he's been around FR for a very long time. Back pre Y2K we all swore he was working for the Clinton's pulling a FR shift over at the NSA. Hey Dane, spoken to yer pal mit lately? I haven't seen him in ages. But he's been replaced by zbigreddogz, I guess. Folks like y'all lend local color to the landscape (take your choice: commie red or Kerry/Dem blue)and allow those of us who present true conservative "all American patriotic values" to shine more brightly. That's what makes us BETTER than DU.
