It is inevitable. Some prominent American will want to be the first on his block to pronounce the shahada and become an official worshipper of mohammed. The publicity will be too delicious, and the ego-augmentation unmatched.
The desire to associate such a successful assassin, murderer, rapist, misogynist, slave-holder and all-around in-your-facer with The One True God, is nothing compared to the lure of a celebro-american associating himself with the mosque of what's happening now.
Cynthia McKinney and John Conyers do not count. Neither does Noam Chomsky. The CNN-worthy frisson of "reversion" has to be present for this prediction to be meaningful. No one will be impressed if a dull bear defecates in the woods.
My guess is between two folks: Jane Fonda and Pat Buchanan.
And my vote goes to Pat. Although I think Jane would be mightily tempted, even if it meant a burka, in the end I think Pat's special ego would win the day.

If what you are getting at is what celebrity will become Muslim insincerely first for the publicity value, I think you have an interesting question. But you needed to refine your ground rules:
1. Clearly a number of athletes have, Clay/Ali, Alcinder/Jabar, Moore/Rashad etc but I think most of those were sincere conversions.
2. Some black politician might, but no white politician will because while they can be plenty insincere, it would probably be a political kiss of death.
So we are left with Hollywood types, musicians though I believe Cat Stevens was sincere and D list celebrities like as someone has suggested an ex-president's child.
So what fading star might try this? How about Tom Jones?
