The last US hanging by federal authorities was in 1959. It was done at the Iowa State Penitentiary in Fort Madison, IA.

The positively horrifying thing to understand is that hell (sheol/gehenna), and The Lake of Fire, weren't created for men, but for Satan and its minions. It is unknown if the demons spoken of in Scripture that are presently held in bondage, to be released for a time during the Tribulation are in hell (or some other place), but one thing that is certain: if they're in hell, woe be to anybody that spends time there. Seriously. Those guys are not happy campers, and I'm certain they're takin' their misery out on all the "guests" that come to join them.
How long is eternity? Well, lets think about that for a second. IF you connected the Earth to the Moon with a string, and an ant traveled to and from the Moon, carrying one granula of material from the Earth and deposited it onto the Moon (and then hauled butt back to get another load), by the time that single ant moved the entire earth, the first milisecond of eternity would have elapsed.

its obvious from this video, that its not a professional, disciplined operation. the fact that someone could even get in there with a cellphone to video it tell you that.
I'm not liking this aspect of it at all - his trial was handled well, I expected a disciplined operation for his execution - this video says otherwise.

Well, as he was swinging if you clicked pause several times in a row it also looked like his mouth was moving. Not a lot but it looked like it he had his upper lip pulled up and then it relaxed in the open mouth position. At least I thought it did. Very poor film but better than nothing.
