Isn't a C-20 a Gulfstream III? If it is, it most certainly CAN fly coast to coast--especially with long runways like Andrews AFB and San Fran Intl!!! The statement that a GIII cannot fly coast to coast is ridiculous. But a G550 can fly from DC to Tokyo non stop without issue, however the likes of Maria Carey travel via BBJ (737) and the third Reich leader should be able to travel better than someone who uses their own money to pay for it.
A 757 is definitely the plane for Herr Pelosi.

No, I haven't looked up a C-20's range, but it may not have the legs to get from a Calif to Hawaii. That's the point.

Her Heinous is supposed to be on Greta Van Susteren, FOX, at 10 PM EST. I think I heard that right on Hannity and Combs just now.

The witch is a millionaire many times over, she should pay for her own family trips. Who the hell does she think she is? The President?

DoD won't let her dispatch it to pick up her cronies...Aha! That 'requirement' has yet to surface in any of the bruhaha surrounding the issue.
Thanks!

Fort Bliss and White Sands are plenty secure, include the approach paths, so her argument is 100% BS. That's what I was thinking. A military aircraft is going to do fuel stops at military facilities under most circumstances. Even an Air NG Base can refuel the plane in reasonable security.

The Speaker's use of military aircraft didn't start till after 9-11 when Hastert was Speaker. His flight home is only 700 miles v. Pelosi's 2700 mile trip. Hastert didn't have all those granddarlings to schlep across the country ;)

How can she have security concerns refueling between DC and SFO if there is no domestic terrorism threat? That is the $56,000.00 question!

Good! They didn't cave on this one. Not yet.
Believe me, with this witch this ain't over by a long shot.
A C-20 can make the 700-mile flight to Hastert's Aurora, Ill., district easily but would generally have to stop to refuel to complete the 2,800-mile trip from Washington D.C. to the San Francisco Bay Area, depending on the headwinds.
Take her 700 miles and drop her...and her crew.
Good riddance.
