EDITING RUDY ON YOU-TUBE

There's a new video up on YouTube showing clips of Rudy Giuliani endorsing Mario Cuomo, which everybody expected would be used against him. But if you'll notice, the video is carefully clipped in the middle, and that's to make Rudy's statement seem worse.
Here's the spliced together quote from the YouTube video, as reported by Hotline:
"[Pataki] has plans to reduce taxes that are so ambitious and so inconsistent with the performance of the economy of the state. It would be a disaster. It would be the kind of tax shift that substitutes for sound management."
Here's the unedited version, with the comments not appearing on the video in bold, from a transcript of Giuliani's October 25, 1994 appearance on "Inside Politics" that can be found on Nexis:
Mayor GUILIANI: He has plans to reduce taxes that are so ambitious and so inconsistent with the performance of the economy of this state that he would, in essence, in order to accomplish that, raise property taxes in the suburbs, around New York, and in New York City.

He certainly doesn't act like a guy seriously interested in running for Pres. He wants you to "BEG HIM TO RUN" first don't you know that?

Liberal Rooty You had heard he was endorsed by Steve Forbes, have't you? According to Forbes: "Rudy Giuliani is the real fiscal conservative in the 2008 presidential race."
But, far be it from me to yank you into reality.

There's enough wrong with Rudy to need to resort to distortions.

He sucks. Rudy sucks, IMO. Now how does that justify me campaigning for or endorsing Obama, Hillary, Fwords?
He should have been smart enough to not endorse anyone, if he hated Patiki. Instead, like so many other times, he opens his yap and says something real, real stupid.

Yes, this "Beg Me" routine is starting to get on my nerves. If I'm doing any begging, it will be to beg him to stay out of the race.

"There was a reason why Rudy supported Cuomo."
Nobody will care about Rudy once they find out what he stands for. Thompson's the MAN!

Why do you care so much about the difference in their ages? It is their business what they do. I know of a couple who had about 40 years difference but it is no concern of mine. If that is what they want, more power to them. At least, he did not marry his cousin.

George Elmer Pataki (born June 24, 1945) was the 53rd Governor of New York, USA serving from January 1995 until December 2006. He is a member of the Republican Party.
Using the logic we've seen used a lot here lately by Rooty tooters (almost as much as the Hillary factor) since Pataki has an (R) after his name, unlike Cuomo, a Dim-o-rat, shouldn't Freepers have supported George regardless of his `wacky' stand on issues?
Speaking of wacky, in other news the WH continues with its campaign to sell the USA down the Rio Grande with its amnesty plan.
Adios, amigos.

Same folks who trashed Pataki are now in love with the editorial board at the NYSlimes.
Go figure......the derangement syndrome is alive and well on FR

No doubt these folks will be bashing Ted Olson as well.
They've already intimated that Barbara Olson would NOT approve.
They have a direct line to heaven!
