I was listening to the Laura Ingraham radio show today and they were talking about how some cars are girly cars and some are manly cars. Laura was particularly mentioning that the Mazda Miata was a girly car. This was news to me. Her assisitant chimed in with saying the Mazda 3 was a girly car. This was also news to me. I'm in the market for a new car and was thinking of buying the MAzda 3 or a Miata. I've been told that the 3 has fewer service issues than other Mazda cars.
Of course one would gather that the manly cars would be trucks.
One girly car I've noticed is the VW Beetle. I've never seen a man driving one of those.
What do Freepers think? What cars are girly cars and what cars are manly cars.

Most Corvettes I see are driven by men, including mine. I also get young guys asking about my ‘Vette at the gas station. That never happened when I was driving an AMC Hornet.

I agree about the Mazda 6. A year or 2 ago my Protege was in the shop and I got a Mazda 6 for a couple of days. My condo neighbor saw me and said “nice car”. I said thanks but had to admit it was just a loaner.

Of course, any Subaru with an NRA sticker and a US Marines sticker in the back (along with maybe a W'04 sticker for good measure) should get the proper message across about your loyalties. You just have to worry about your car being "keyed" while in socialist areas.
I reject the premise. A car is a machine. It’s a tool to do a job, the job that gets the job done best is the right one.
If you think a tiny two-seater like a Miata is a “girly” car, a car along the same lines was good enough for Sean Connery as James Bond, damnit. And if you think that whipping a little roadster around hairpin curves shooting gravel is “girly,” brother, you haven’t lived.
A lady at the cold storage warehouse where I used to do business referred to them as looking like a TicTac mint.
It stuck...every time I see one (and this has been at least ten years), I think "TicTac"...
