This could be nuclear to NBC. If the ramblings are in anyway an indictment of a politically favored class [Islam] then NBC’s audience of DU’ers and lefties will beat NBC to death. However if they hold back [and word will ultimately get out], their stock goes down as a “news” organization. Not that their stock as a news org. is stellar, anyway. HA!

Another thread said FedEx. Shouldn’t that have gotten there sooner than TWO DAYS?

He wanted to be Keith’s boy toy but found out he’s already been poken for?

He found out that Olberman was as frustrated with women as he was, and wanted to commiserate?

Seems fortunate that the mail was picked up in that two hour window and ‘timestamped’, as in processed. Something seems fishy about this story. Although there may be a mail office on campus which means he had to have it weighed and postage paid to a person behind a counter.

FedEx has multiple service offerings for different transit times.

BDS (Bush Derangement Syndrome). And it sounds like he had some “classist” ramblings too.

TIME STAMPED???? THAT IS NOT POSTMARKED! WAS IT MAILED OR SENT VIA ELECTRONIC MEANS AND TO WHOM WAS IT SENT? I AM BETTING ON KEITH OLBERMANN AS RECPIENT>

Presumably he sent it via express mail.

<< Network officials turned the material over to the FBI and said they would not immediately disclose its contents beyond characterizing the material as “disturbing.” >>

You can be sure of few things in this life, but one of them is, that if these materials indicated that he did this crime

- in order to object to the practice of abortion in this country

- under some warped idea of Christianity,

- or any other so-called “right wing” motive,

we would already know that by now.

One day to get there, sits on someone’s desk or in the mailroom until someone happens to notice who it was from.

See 269. It appears that is what occurred.

I think he had something else planned, but couldn’t help himself, and just murdered the first two people, probably breaking this own twisted plan...And it went from there.

I feel sorry for them too. I have some “crazy” family members, and the saner ones can’t accept it. Only outside, objective sources are able to see it.

If he printed the post electronically (like through payapl or stamps.com), many times the postage will have the date and, IIRC, time stamped on the postage.

Or the videotape may have the timestamp on it or CD may have had a time code showing when it was burned. I don’t think there’s a deep conspiracy here, just that NBC has some knowledge that shows when Cho sent it out.

He used FedEx and thus has a time stamp.

I think he used the Post Office. The pkg would have been timestamped if it had been given to a PO clerk at the PO.

Seems he initially shot the two to death, wandered over to his dorm room, knowing the would eventually get him for the first murders, he apparently has plenty of time, he puts together a package of photos, videos and writings, drops it in the mail, loads up his weapons, extra clips and decides to go out in a bloody murderous blaze.

Yes, this makes the most sense to me. That it just evolved that day, into what transpired. He may have had numerous thoughts about doing it, but not concrete. It makes no sense otherwise, because there was risk of being stopped in the long period of time between, if it were all planned the way it went. My question is, what caused his explosion on that particular morning?

The media knows what they are doing. There are times they hold all the cards and play their hand after they’ve gotten their talking points out there.

If this is a jihadist attack (or other hate crime) then the focus would not have been on “gun grabbing” which was the original knee jerk reaction. They’ll get their talking points out there by hook or by crook.

No argument there, but obviously this guy wasn't exactly sane either...
