I read an article in a magazine some 15 years ago about the fact that every US citizen should carry a firearm. It would prevent violent crime simply because any criminal who knew that a person was carrying a firearm would not commit any crime against this citizen. Jack Cafferty on CNN had a question about this when he mentioned Kennesaw on his night question and answer session. This was the first time I had ever heard on this city. I just wish that Congress would enact a law that every US citizen was required to carry a firearm. Perhaps something like VA Teck would not happen again. Amen

I live in Kennesaw, GA. Yes there is a law requiring every household to have a gun. There are plenty of guns everywhere around here but not much gun crime.
Kennesaw is also part of the district formerly represented by Newt.
