in 86 it was supposed to be 800,000 but 2.7 million got amnesty...and then their families came

so if they now claim it’s 12 million, it could be 3-4 times that easy...and then their families

they could be a plurality here in less than a generation

course, they will leave their culture at the border doncha know?

2-3 years ago they said 3-4 million....it just keeps growing with a POTUS who just fiddles

First off, I am steadfast against anything remotely close to amnesty. However, while we are complaining about Bush’s position on the illegal immigration issue, undertand that he as been as upfront and plainly spoken about the subject as he as been in his prosecution of the War on Terror. He has always made it clear that he supports an open border/amnesty type of immigration policy. Like it or not, we are getting what we voted for....as bad as this is, can you imagine how awful things would be with Algore or F’n Kerry in the Oval Office?

That is true. But he was less than candid about planning to use the power of the presidency to thwart border control efforts. He never mentioned not enforcing laws he disagreed with.

Good luck. Bush may be ringleader but he has a lot of tigers and lions around him backing - and they are all liberals - like him.

I don’t think this can be stoped in teh Senate. The Senate has demonstrated in the past their total disregard and contmept for public opinion on a host of issues. I think the only hope is to pressure the House. The Senate should be reduced to two year terms. THAT would chnge things there. They act like an American House of Lords more than elected officials.

AS for the Bushmaster - write him and tell him any member of his family is finished in the future as a consequnce of this act of treason - maybe write “Jeb” too. He has hopes for “Son of Jeb” rising to the Presidency on a groundswell of Hispanic AMerican votes.

These people are stealing our country from us - and I don’t mean the Hispanics - I mean the Senate and the entire Bush Klan.

Senator Reid said in a floor speech last week that only 5% of those illegally coming across the borders are apprehended. If so, the numbers actually crossing could be astronomical.

The House Homeland Security Committee report of 2006 said that up to 10,000,000 may have entered the US illegally and unregistered in year 2005 alone.

This invasion is massive. The 'estimated numbers' are kept low to deceive the public; the 'actual numbers' and many times higher than we know. The 11 million illegals figure has been used by 'officials' for over 5 years. It is woefully out-dated.

Nor does his position give him the right to ignore the Constitution and defy the will of the people that voted him in and the people he represents.

Bush’s contempt for doing his job (enforcing law) is enraging.

On one hand, he is hell bent on thumbing his nose at the rule of law, thereby cheapening its meaning, then on the other hand, he wants to pass a heap of more legislation, thereby watering down any semblence of validity to anything he would to or say about any matter from this point on.

What should we call him now?! ...
