Luckily I haven't had the oportunity to find out.
I think for trucks it's minor, but would rip out the underside of most cars.

That is very kind of you and I look forward to seeing everyone and trying them out. If needs be, I can purchase some ammo when I get down there. I don’t want to fly with it in my bags. :D

Guess we oughta have at least one person with a huntin license then. I bet Humble has one. Yep, sure do.
But you know, gators attack puppies.
Sometimes gatorcide is justified.
After which, waste not ~ want not.
To: NYTexan
Thank you. I don’t know what I would do without you around! :D
You think of everything!

Sometimes gatorcide is justified. Most definitely. It's just that if they are in season, and there's a valid hunting license, then you avoid all the potential need for justification and all that messy paperwork. Not to mention risking those puppies should the gator be a bit slow to respond to being shot.

I dont want to fly with it in my bags. :D It's actually not a problem. Just have it in the original box, and it's a good idea to tell them it's there, but there are no forms to fill out or anything.
I accidentally flew to Orlando with a box of .45 ACP in my checked luggage. I was not using my normal TDY luggae, as the trip was longer than usual and the one I use for 2-3 meetings just isn't big enough for a full workweek of meeting. I'd forgotten the amo was in the larger one, left over from a car trip where I thought I might get a chance to shoot the .45. I declared it at Orlando on the way home via DFW.
Still ammo is probably cheaper in Texas. My .22s aren't picky and besides I have plenty of .22... well maybe not plenty, but more than a brick (500 rounds).

Can't say I blame 'em ;^) They just don't know how to cook 'em.
I've caught a lot of them when I was younger. I don't much like them either, but I've that expression since I was just a whippersnapper ... as much as I ever was one that is.

I heard (stupid) rumors yesterday that there is an alligator hanging out in the lake. I guess they turned out not to be so stupid after all. Not suprising either. Water, south, gators. You can't hardly retrive your golf ball from a water hazard in much of Florida, or so I'm told, I don't do golf. And I haven't personally seen any gators, the four legged kind, I work with a two legged one from the U. of FL,
even though he and I have been in Orlando every few months for the last 3 years, and there is a nice pond/lake, adjacent the to La Quinta I usually stay in. The other side of the pond is Central Florida University.

At least the board won't have any bones. Chortal.
But one of my parents friends, named Gladys but whom my Dad called Happy Bottom, swore that the way to fix 'em was to dice 'em into small pieces, and then saute or stir fry 'em for a LONG time, until the bones are soft enough to eat.
Me? I used em for fertilizing my sweet corn, American Indian style.

The Tijeras_Slim shipment of salsa & chips arrived today. Not sure my will power is strong enough to stay away from the salsa for 10 more days!

You wouldn’t want to eat up all that salsa without getting to try it on the alligator, would you?
