The only people who wear stuff to cover their faces are those who are planning or committing crimes or acts of terrorism. If the Burqa fits they you are a terrorist.
On a recent airplane hijacking which was thwarted when the pilot landed for fuel and all the passengers and flight crew fled out the rear door, the hijackers, when captured, announced “We are Muslims”. They didn’t say terrorists or hijackers. They said “We are Muslims”. This implies that to the Muslim world terrorist, hijacker and Muslim are interchangable terms.
Stop smuggling weapons into the mosques under your burlap, ladies.
And, if you aren’t accustom to our style of life, you can always return to where you came from or, go where it is excepted!

That’s exactly my thought, and why seeing a woman in hijab makes me uneasy, nevermind the ones wearing the varous varieties of more-encompassing robes, veils and whatnot. It’s a political statement and a repudiation of everything we have come to believe in this society about the equality of women, and also that men are expected to be responsible for controlling themselves.
That’s also leaving aside the fact that in area where muslims become a majority, very soon there is a pressure on all (especially young) women to wear hijab or be harassed by every knuckle-dragging muslim male, spouting their twisted take on sexual morality. I think the French and others who have banned hijab from public schools are probably on the right track - it’s unfortunate that religious or personal freedoms must be infringed on, but sometimes necessary for the greater good.
At the very least, you look like an idiot who despises God's creation and the many gifts given to you.

That is an idiotic baseless statement, that you “know” women in headscarves are going to fight against the USA. I don’t know how many times morons like you have to be told that we have Moslem allies fighting and dying with us around the world. If she is an Afghan or a Kuwaiti is the against us, you idiot?
The head scarf is a sign of modesty and respect for God - just as my Italian relatives always wore one to church on Sunday.

The story stinks. I have no confidence that it happened, and certainly not in the way the woman claimed. You may very well be right.
If I was there with my relative who was wearing a simple head scarf, and that guy pulls that crap on her, they will be carrying him out feet first. And rightly so.
Ok well now that you’re back in the USA, maybe you can start thinking like an American again. That includes not bothering a woman in a convenience store. Do you do such things?
Have you ever heard of Afghanistan, Kuwait, Bosnia, and MANY other Moslem peoples who worship the USA and owe us a debt of gratitude? No, because you're too busy just "knowing" that a scarf wearing woman is a lover of Osama Bin Laden.
It's entirely possible this incident never happened - but then I read on here truly stupid comments supporting it. So who knows. But I know the enemy isn't a lady's head scarf.

There is absolutely no proof that anything like this happened. The story’s originator, CNN, has a long and sordid history of creating “facts” out of whole cloth. Your zeal in accepting this story at face value is troubling.
Even if it were true I have zero, nil nada empathy for this burka-wearing Arab woman. You see, Arabs have attacked us on numerous occasions and there has been little or no outcry from the Arab community.
Instead, all we hear about is how insulted they are when they allege someone said or did this or that to them. I don’t have one iota of proof, but I bet this woman probably objects to having to reveal her face for a driver’s license, too. But we do know there are many Arabs who fight that requirement. That it is even a point of discussion is about as inane as it gets.
No sir, I feel nothing for this woman. But I feel very intensely for the innocent Americans the Arab fundamentalists have killed and are planning to kill.
When I’m in an airport I check everybody out. But I take extra time with Middle Eastern types and make sure they know it. I don’t give a d-— what they think, because a lack of vigilence could lead to someone dying or being injured.
What part of WOT don’t you get? These people say they want to kill us, they have killed us, they are killing us and they are desperately planning to kill more of us. This is not some virtual game that is playing out right now. The dead stay dead and the maimed really are maimed.
