When Chuck Norris sends in his taxes, he sends blank forms and includes only a picture of himself, crouched and ready to attack. Chuck Norris has not had to pay taxes, ever.

Pssh. If either Johnny Cash or Steve McQueen got onboard, Huckabee might as well just move into the White House right now, until 2016.

I am a grown up that will stand for something not fall for anything

Then stand up and read these articles that shows what a non-conservative nanny-stater the Huckster is and then contemplate whether you still support him, because he is NOT a true conservative.

I know Huckabee both personally and politically, and he will tell you what you want to hear in order to gain your vote - period. Who else do you know that came from Hope Arkansas that did the same thing? Ring any bells? Well, the Huckster is just a GOP version. You have been forewarned. Don't fall for his "aw shucks I'm just a good old boy" schtick.

BEARS REPEATING - BTTT - Hear this, people: Mike Huckabee is NOT A CONSERVATIVE, and he is pro-illegal immigration. He may be slick behind a podium in a so-called “debate” among a bunch of mental midgets, but he could not get elected dog catcher in his home state. People here are fed-up with his phony popularism.

You have now been warned by 2 Arkansas FReepers who know the Huckster. Anyone who votes for a presidential candidate based on what some actor, singer, or artist says is a non-thinking idiot.

WAKE UP AND USE YOUR BRAIN AND QUIT SELF-DESTRUCTING, CONSERVATIVES !

Chuck was Steve McQueen’s karate/martial arts teacher. He is the son of an alcoholic and has changed his life around. I admire him for that.

In honor of Chuck’s endorsement, I’ve been working on a few Mike Huckabee facts...

There is no theory of evolution. Just a list of animals Mike Huckabee hasn’t taxed into extinction.

Mike Huckabee has two speeds: Walk, and Regulate.

Mike Huckabee once ate three 72-ounce steaks in an hour. He spent the first 45 minutes enforcing the smoking ban.

Mike Huckabee CAN believe it’s not butter, as all trans fats will be outlawed if he is elected President.

Mike Huckabee once worked as a weatherman for the Little Rock evening news. Every night he would make the same forecast: Partly cloudy with a 75% chance of higher taxes.

According to Einstein’s theory of relativity, Mike Huckabee can actually raise your taxes yesterday.

Mike Huckabee puts his pants on one leg at a time, just like the rest of us. The only difference is, then he creates massively expensive welfare programs.

3. Does he do his best to keep his campaign promises? I would think Huckabee’s word is important to him.

Take this to the bank. The Huckster will tell you anything it takes to get your vote - period. We conservatives in Arkansas know and we're warning all other conservatives - do NOT make the same mistake that cost us 8 years of slick-willy, only this time it will be a GOP version.

Maybe, Mr. Huckabee will call for a nation-wide alcohol ban. I’m fed up with the “nanny-staters.” That is my #1 issue.

Norris is a fine actor in his genre. Watch Code of Silence. Repeat as necessary.
Every film actor has good and bad movies- even Seagal had his “Out for Hustice” and “Marked for Death”.
Hoffman has Ishtar and “Meet the Fokkers”.
Pacino couldn’t get a laugh with a pratfall.

Chuck Norris has competition and movie skills.
Lee was different.
Lee, however, is dead.
Chuck continued to grow.

I wonder if it was the national smoking ban that tipped it for Chuck? He's always been health conscious.

Perhaps it was his Healthy Ardansas inititive
or his setting a 'healthy' standard for the state.

Didn't he also invent the Obesity Report Card for children?

I assume you listen with equal attentiveness to the political discourse from George Clooney, Rosie O’Donnell, and Barbara Streisand. After all, they are also ‘actors’.

An actor, or a singer, has an opinion. So do I. Mine is worth an equal amount as theirs.. and even more if they happen to be idiots. They just have access to a soapbox that broadcasts farther than I can, and also have a lapdog press mindlessly repeating their words. If they weren’t so interested in their own promotion, they would most definitely shut up and do what they are paid for.

I can agree with what you are saying, but the actor’s livelyhood depends on there name being spoken by press.

I detest Rosie and her ilk just as much as anyone, but if Rosie was quiet and stuck to her commedy, she would be flat broke.
One has to wonder if these Hollywood types sit and think of things to say that are purposefully contriversial, just to get some publicity.

I am surprised but Chuck is following a religious train of thinking since Huckabee is a minister.

Chuck is "Born Again." In all that he does, he demonstrates himself to be a strong and resolute follower of Jesus Christ. Ever read any of his columns on this topic at WND? Pretty powerful stuff.

I’ll bet Jack Bauer endorses a real warrior, Duncan Hunter! Assuming he's not in jail for drunken driving on election day.

Yes I have a deep respect for Chuck. In a past career I got to work security on one of his sets and got to be around him. He is a very real and nice guy.

I just disagree with his endorsement.

That said, there’s no way I can support Huckabee. As great as he is on most social issues, he has zero credibility on fiscal issues, border security, and limited government.

Well, I too, am a FREDERALIST and I'm in the Hunt for a Red November...but our guy didn't do as well as Huckabee did in the debate. I was so surprised you could've knocked me over with a feather when Huckabee mentioned a need to decisively defeat the Law of the Sea Treaty pushed by both Bush regimes and the Clintons.

Huckabee also was pretty decisive, it seemed to me on the need to secure the borders and exactly how he would accomplish that mission. Fred's my man but at the debate he was good for some good quips while Huckabee scored points with conservatives.

Sorry I didn't respond to your earlier post, things were very busy last night. I would point you to this thread as an example of his illegal immigration problem. Excerpt:

He has compared illegal aliens to slaves brought here in chains from Africa, saying, "I think frankly the Lord is giving us a second chance to do better than we did before."

Toward that end, when an Arkansas legislator introduced a bill that would prevent illegal aliens from voting and receiving state benefits, Huckabee denounced the bill, saying it would rile up "those who are racist and bigots."

He also made the insane point that companies like Toyota would not invest in Arkansas if the state didn't allow non-citizens to vote because it would "send the message that, essentially, 'If you don't look like us, talk like us and speak like us, we don't want you.'

I'll try and find some examples of his problems with fiscal issues.
