Security, prosperity, Gott mit ..., yeah, he's right. Everything you always thought you wanted, only it will be a lie.

Hitler pulled it on the Germans, and it could happen anywhere, including here--not from without, but within.

The quote is actually a Sinclair Lewis quote he is discussing - and his criticism of Huckabee is valid, IMO.

It would only be valid if you believed that Huckabee actually tried to insert a subliminal cross into his ad. I'm no Huckabee supporter, but I think you would have to be a nutcase conspiracy believer to even consider that Huckabee would intentionally add a subliminal message in his ad. It appears that Paul seems to believe that that could be the case and that's no surprise to me because Paul continually proves he is such a nutcase.

The fact that NO campaign cross-checks every single one of the hundreds of thousands donations they get, and the fact that you simply don’t want it to be true, doesn’t prove anything.

For the claim to be “debunked” you have to have actual proof that thousands of people all conspired to fill in fake information. Your example is the same brand of thinking as Democrats claiming the 2000 and 2004 national elections were “stolen” because electronic voting machines don’t absolutely verify the votes cast, and they can find a handful of people who swear their votes were switched.

Simply wishing something to be true because it conflicts with your personal opinions is not “debunking.”

Do you understand the tremendous leap in logic from “I don’t want that to be true and I can think of a scenario where it isn’t.” to “That never happened!!!!!!!”?

For all their talk of angry conspiracies, the obsessive anti-Ron Paul types on here are masters of them.

I was almost with you until I realized you think Ron Paul could beat Hillary Clinton in 2008. That is sad if you believe that.

The Democrat is probably going to beat the Republican canidate in 2008 anyway, so it may not matter. But Ron Paul would have less than a 25% chance of success whereas there are other candidates who have a 40 or even 50% chance.

Ron Paul is guaranteed to lose. So, other than inspiring some new people about freedom and the Constitution, he is a waste of time. He is also a very dishonest, unsavory, and untrustworthy character who is ultimately dangerous to your own cause.

There is one I’ve dealt with before that even tried to equate his support of ron paul as being the same thing as serving in the military.

I would consider that a great insult...from a coward.

It’s not subliminal.

It’s overt!

It’s intentional.

“It wasn’t a “floating cross” or any other cross.

It was a bookcase.”

It was a part of a bookcase that was panned behind Huckster.

The part of the bookcase that was in the image was deliberately framed to look like a cross.

There is NO possible way this was accidental and people just happened to notice after it was released.

None.

When insanity comes, it’ll be towing a blimp and asking for money.

I'm reading on, but I'm pretty sure that's the post of the thread. Nicely done.

No Fascist state can exist without doing the first thing that the National Socialist Workers Party did. Take away your guns.

Bill hit it on the head. As much as I dislike Huckabee, the fascist title is not only ludicrous on its face, but cannot be applied to a pro-gun guy in any case.

Because I am a Christian, I forgive Ron Paul for his declaration that a celebration of my Savior's birth is a sign of Hitler on the march. Because I am an American, I support deporting him, perhaps to Syria or Iran:

"Congressmen who willfully take actions during wartime that damage morale, and undermine the military are saboteurs and should be arrested, exiled or hanged." --President Abraham Lincoln

Are you deliberately misrepresenting what he said in an attempt to smear him, or did you just misunderstand it?

Fascists never wrap themselves in the symbols of righteousness. Everybody knows that.

Your sarcastic comment shows just how far out in space you and your candidate are. Your candidate is reacting to a video Christmas card...let me repeat that, a Christmas card...by describing it as a sign of Hitler on the march. Here's a tip: Hitler wasn't giving out Christmas cards.

When the postman brings you a Christmas card, do you cringe and look around for cattlecars? Or maybe you don't get Christmas cards because you're afraid the postman is just another government stormtrooper.

The Ron Paul folks have a legitimate gripe in that his appearance appeared to be to talk about Paul's record fundraising day, but the only question - at least in this segment - was about this ad.

I don't think that's a legitimate gripe unless Doccy and his co-hosts never asked about the fundraiser. A guy expecting to be Commander-in-Chief should be able to handle an extra question or two.

An update for you...I’m using embers from the tongue’s charred corpse to light my Yule log. It’s a good thing.

Your post shows just how far off in space you and Paul are. The ad he was reacting to was a Christmas card. Take some thorazine.

I am not a Paul supporter, but... His quote makes sense.

It might if he wasn't reacting to a video Christmas card as if it's a party platform with a Bible reference for every plank. I don't see the Huckabee Youth forming anytime soon.

This is all about context, and in context the reaction is nut-nut-nutty.

I was not referring to his Christmas card ad.

Just his quotes supporting illegal immigration calling it un-Christan and un-American not to support those positions.

What? Ron Paul says that “that Jesus Christ is my personal Savior, and that I seek His guidance in all that I do?”

Well, I guess when fascism comes, it will be wrapped in a flag and carrying a cross!

Ron Paul is a liar and a hypocrite.

“Ron Paul was on CNN, MSNBC, and Fox and Friends today. Fox and Friends (of Rudi) asked the stupidest questions and did the least professional interview.”

As opposed to the NERF ball questions he’s asked on the clinton news network and PMSnbc?
