Aide: Candidate to take money and 'try to spread the message of freedom'

Republican presidential hopeful Ron Paul has received a $500 campaign donation from a white supremacist, and the Texas congressman doesn't plan to return it, an aide said Wednesday.

Don Black, of West Palm Beach, recently made the donation, according to campaign filings. He runs a Web site called Stormfront with the motto, "White Pride World Wide." The site welcomes postings to the "Stormfront White Nationalist Community."

Ron Paul accepts contributions from stormfront. That’s breaking news on Free Republic.
That site has been blocked here for years and for good reason.

The fact that Paul’s a traitor is the reason you’re supporting him.

Some people, yourself included, want to see the United States defeated in this war. Anyone, such as yourself, who adheres to that belief is a traitor and ought to be treated and punished accordingly.

If you don’t like that, then maybe you should abandon your treasonous views.

I find it interesting that Paul rails against government taking our money and doing as they please but here his supporters are proudly proclaiming that Paul is doing exactly that with this Stormfront money.

Breaking news? Why give any attention to a nutburger who has as much a chance of levitating to Omicron Persei 8 as he has to being elected.

Paul has more support from blacks than any other Republican candidate

Of course he does. He's going to win this thing. Big.

Why on earth would he return it? Doesn’t he get to keep all this “campaign money” he receives?

Oddly enough, EEE was a BIG Giuliani supporter only a few short months ago. Rudy’s biggest draw back then was his supposed “toughness” in the WOT.

Then, seemingly overnight, a vision came to EEE and he was swept into L Ron’s mujahadeen... and our illegal occupation of Iraq and the war of aggression against the poor, misunderstood jihadists just had to end.

Draw your own conclusions.

We can’t have a Free Republic unless we ban dissent!

You sound like Alan "Help! Help! I'm being oppressed!" Colmes.

Nobody's talking about banning dissent. We're talking about banning left-wing activists. Which is exactly what L Ron's mujahadeen consists of.

Exactly. We can’t have a Free Republic unless we ban dissent!

Not wanting anti-American leftists hardly qualifies as "banning dissent." You sound like the Dixie Chicks complaining about censorship because people quit buying their albums after they criticized the United States.

Oddly enough, EEE was a BIG Giuliani supporter only a few short months ago.

Few short months ago? Try the winter of 2007, when there was no Ron Paul and just Rudy McRomney, and before Rudy imploded with his defending of tax-payer funded abortions

Rudy’s biggest draw back then was his supposed “toughness” in the WOT.

More like I was under the impression that he would leave social issues to the states and be a hard-nosed President in dealing with the Rats and getting things accomplished. Any of the Republicans would be tough on the WOT. Anyway, it's all moot. Do I support him now?

Then, seemingly overnight, a vision came to EEE and he was swept into L Ron’s mujahadeen.

I've been here since 1999. There was a time when Ron Paul was what Fred Thompson is now here. I've always been a supporter of Dr. Paul.

and our illegal occupation of Iraq and the war of aggression against the poor, misunderstood jihadists just had to end.

I don't buy the Truther, anti-war Sheehan crap pal, sorry. I support Paul because I want limited government, secure borders, and a return to the Constitution. You know, the things that embodies the mission statement of this very website.

Wonder whether a few more freepers will be supporting Mr. Paul now......

(it wasn't totally uncalled for).

"How's McCain's fundraising? :-)

McCain received a $5,000 donation from the Muslim, church-burning, ,Ft. Dix Six supporting, Albanian American Civic League -- and no one bats an eye, even though McCain's siding with this group took us to war against Christians for Muslims once, and will likely do the same again.

But never mind, that's not really "important news" at a Ron Paul hate-fest.

It truly amazes me how much time and energy that Ron Paul haters are willing to spend on what they have called "a moonbat loser with zero chance of winning"! If that were true, what's the point?

The fact that Paul’s a traitor is the reason you’re supporting him.

Your reasoning is invalid.

Some people, yourself included, want to see the United States defeated in this war.

I'm all for watching terrorists kill each other and if they attack us again, we obliterate them. You?

Anyone, such as yourself, who adheres to that belief is a traitor and ought to be treated and punished accordingly.

Punished how? You're going to email me your fist or something?

If you don’t like that, then maybe you should abandon your treasonous views.

Well, I really can't abandon something I don't believe in the first place, right?

That's odd, since you're backing the truther, anti-war Sheehan crap, candidate... pal.

Or did you think the Kossacks were spamming every Jihad Ron poll under the sun because they gotten wise to the notion of limited government?
