Supporters: 'Bhutto was targeted using laser beam'

ISLAMABAD: The controversy over former premier Benazir Bhutto's assassination has taken another turn with a section of her Pakistan People's Party (PPP) claiming she was targeted with sophisticated "laser beam technology".

Bhutto's wounds were caused not by bullets but by some sort of laser weapon, 'The Nation' newspaper said quoting sources in the PPP.

When Bhutto was admitted to Rawalpindi General Hospital shortly after the fatal attack on her on December 27, doctor Musaddiq Khan, who treated her, told a PPP leader that he had seen "such a case for the first time in his life", sources said.

Bhutto's wounds were not caused by bullets and she had died before reaching the hospital. A part of her brain and blood had spilled out from her head, they quoted the doctor as saying.

The sources also claimed both the gunshots and the bomb blast in the attack on Bhutto "were a decoy to hide the real shooters".

The paper further quoted the sources as saying that the militant leader Baitullah Mehsud and the Taliban, blamed for her assassination by the government, did not have such technology.

Mehsud had sent two messages to Bhutto after the suicide bombing of her motorcade in Karachi on October 19 in which he said that he had no hostility against her and would not make any attempt to kill her, they said.

The PPP sources said after the suicide attack, the "ambulance also picked up a dead body behind the stage of Liaquat Bagh", the venue of an election rally that Bhutto had addressed.

I didn’t know Pakistan had a shark infestation problem.

Come to think of it, I suppose I should have guessed.

It’s actually quite interesting to note that the instinct to see bizarre conspiracies behind important events is apparently found everywhere. Maybe the person with the laser beam helped Bush destroy the World Trade Center along with the four Cubans behind the grassy knoll, all of which was orchestrated by the Illuminati, the Trilateral Commission, and the Bilderburgers. LOL

Why are third world-minded people so frightened of lasers?

Uh...I won’t even go into the amount of watts of power a laser must apply in order to go through a human head...because honestly I don’t know exactly...but it’s a LOT! I used to get talk to researchers at an AF base I was assigned to that were working on laser projects back in the early 1990s and a couple of times we got to stand in the “safety zone”...wearing the “extra special goggles”...and watch them cut holes in various substances.

These people need to exhume Mrs. Bhutto and have a third party do an autopsy on her and settle all these questions once and for all!! Sheesh!

Next thing you know it will be Bigfoot came and dragged her out of the car and bashed her brains out, with hundreds of witnesses...foolishness. :-\

I think they only thing they think they have heard is the word virgins. But they got that wrong too, it is Virginians. Truth be told: if they kill themselves they get 72 Virginians and they are pist too.

This ridiculous claim is probably a ruse by which they can implicate Americans in the assassination. If it was really some super secret laser technology, then it must be the Americans, or the Americans gave Musharraf the weapon to do it, and once again, the world's favorite scapegoat gets blamed.

Perhaps a CO2 laser you saw. Hey, there’s a link—the “deadly greenhouse gas” killed Bhutto!!

Seriously, a laser large enough to cook someone’s brain would have to be fairly large and difficult to aim at a moving object. I would think the good people of Rawalpindi (sp?) would have noticed a tank-sized device being manhandled into place, too.

I think you may have inadvertently overlooked the World Zionist Conspiracy and the Chinese Tongs. They are important players too.

True statement. Then we have Hillarious Clinton trying to upset an alley by pinning it on Mush. She is a National Security threat (IMHO). While I am at it Barrack Hussein Oboma is a threat too. He wants to bomb Pakistan.
