I got to play with a 60-watt CO₂ laser once, and there is no way it could do what they are claiming, and it was as big as a small refrigerator.

I suspect you would need hundreds of watts of laser energy, which would be a very large, heavy device, using kilowatts of electricity. It couldn't be plugged into ordinary electric outlets. Only the military could have something like this.

I’ve been to Rawalpindi, Islamabad, and Peshawar, several times in the ‘70’s. It was like the wild west 30 years ago, many men carried rifles and they drove around in 1957 Chevy’s in Peshawar. It was kinda comical.
