Superbug linked to homosexual behavior

to antibiotics, is now spreading among homosexual males in San Francisco, Boston, New York and Los Angeles, according to a new report in the Annals of Internal Medicine.

"Due to liberal political correctness, which insists on treating aberrant – even deadly – behaviors and lifestyles as a 'civil right,' we as a society don't seem to have learned much from the AIDS pandemic," he said.

He called it an "eerie reminder" of the first stories about AIDS. "It is unfathomable that after that plague, disease specialists and the media are now surprised at the correlation of a new infection with homosexual behavior," he said.

The bacteria is called methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, and has been seen previously in hospitalized patients. However over the last few years, researchers said its impact has expanded, with a strain called USA300 now being documented as an exceptionally drug-resistant variant.

The bacteria is resistant to six common antibiotics, and the study revealed that nearly 1 in 500 residents in San Francisco's Castro neighborhood is infected. The risk homosexuals will contract it is 13 times greater than the rest of the city's population.

"Television shows like Will and Grace glorify the homosexual lifestyle while our children are taught in schools that homosexuality is a perfectly healthy, alternative sexual 'orientation.' 'Stay out of our bedrooms!' we're often commanded by militant 'gay' activists," he said. "Well, now the dangerous and possibly deadly consequence of what occurs in those bedrooms is spilling over into the general population. It's not only frightening, it's infuriating.

"Citizens, especially parents, need to stand up and say, 'No More! We will no longer sit idly by while politically correct cultural elites endanger our children and larger communities through propagandist promotion of this demonstrably deadly lifestyle,'" he said.

The infection causes boils and other infections but the report said what is unusual is that up to 40 percent of the infections occur in the buttocks and genitalia.

What a coincidence ...

I know. Ive been a medical transcriptionist for 15 years and am very aware of MRSA. Type it daily. It’s nothing new, but is getting a lot of publicity lately.

Aids was a mostly voluntary disease acquired through behavioral choices. Staph infections are something else.

I read that 90,000 + people die from staph infections (excluding this new superbug) picked up in American hospitals each year. More than die from auto accidents or gunshots.

Amazing how many people are willing to take a chance on illness or death over sex.

That’s what bothers me: The contagion is being driven by a certain vector, but is not dependent on the same vector. A societal behavior risks an entire population, not just the subculture it comes from.

Why is it we must be tolerant of this, again? It is getting harder and harder to explain...

This is nothing like alcoholism or lung cancer. We are creating increasingly resistent strains of bacteria that will be a plague on all. And drug abuse is illegal.

If you cheat and read the end of the book...the bugs win. Their more adaptable.

That is odd. Wonder how that would occur?

Some cases even have developed into "necrotizing fascitis," the so-called "flesh-eating" disease because of its quick progression that often requires surgery, or amputation, to halt its progress, the report said.

Sounds like the problem is self-correcting.

You and others here are absolutely right. But of course you know that :)

THIS and other extremely expensive medical problems caused by this behavior, are what is wrong with health care and the costs. It far out weighs even illegal immigration. There are just too many serious and even deadly medical issues caused by this behavior to even name them, and even if someone did, a lot of it would not be printed here since the language would be explicit and most people with logical rational minds, would be sickened.

AIDS is just a SMALL part of the problem entering into this deadly lifestyle exposes homosexuals to.

I would say all the money spent to find a cure for this completely preventable disease in largely to blame for our economy woes too. Couple the cost of looking for cures, with the cost per month for these drug cocktails for AIDS or HIV alone and it’s enough to bankrupt any health care provider.

The most frightening thing about this particular plague is the ease with which it can spread to those who do not engage in the risky behavior. Consider the possibility that a gay with highly resistant staphylococcus bacteria uses a restroom before a person with an open wound (not yet healed). The likelihood of transmission is there and without any untoward behavior. Pretty scary.

Scary indeed! Imagine a homosexual working in a restaurant, or as a teacher, exposing mass numbers of people, including children. And you cannot discriminate! The right to an orgasm no matter how depraved and dangerous trumps the health of the general public. And all the health organizations and legislators can think to do is jump on board with the brainless second hand smoke bandwagon. And the obesity bandwagon. Demonize law abiding citizens and promote anything criminal or deviant.

"Imagine a homosexual working in a restaurant"

Another good reason not to be a tourist in San Francisco.

"And would you like some MRSA with that salad?"

Bet the homosexual community claims the C.I.A. in collusions with G.W. Bush are responsible for this one too.

True, but most people would say that disqualifies a lot of cities and even towns, all over the country. Certainly anywhere in the NE or coastal west. Even FLA.
