Where does a Conservative go?(Vanity)
My feckless brain ^ | Me

Posted on 01/20/2008 1:18:25 AM PST by TexasMatty

As a Conservative I am lost. I will not, under any circumstances vote for John Mclame. He has sold Conservatives out. Nor will I vote for Jesus' favorite candidate Schmuckabee. I believe the most Conservative candidate is Thompson and can't help but wonder who is voting in these things. If Mclame or Schmuckabee is the nominee I can't vote. It will pain me deeply to not vote, but either of those clowns are no different from the lefty. Me question to my FRiends is.. WHAT THE HELL DO WE DO??? The situation seems rather desperate.

I am afraid the voters is America are too selfish. They have latched on to groupism and it is too late.

This entire race is a welcome refresher into how our system of government works. It's come none to soon to the hard orthodox folks, who have forgotton how small a percentage strict conservatives are in this country. We do not have the numbers to force a real conservative into office. Trying to ramrod through a hard core conservative the mass electorate won't accept is a fool's errand. (Lookin' at you, Duncan Hunter and Fred Thompson)

The real selfishness at play here is the attitude of some here, who demand more than our position affords. They would prefer total defeat to a marginal victory if their demands are not met. While most of the Republican candidates are deeply flawed, both as candidates and as human beings, they are all objectively better Presidential material than Obama or Clinton. The idea that the nation would be better served by letting the Clintons back into office than Mitt Romney is rubbish.

BS..the majority of Americans are more conservative than these elite candidates. These are the establishment picks and they are ramming them down our throats through the media.

You got it. We are victims of a GOP , having had the SH*T manipulated and then literally kick out of us. The GOP does not really care about what its electorate needs or wants, Their annointed candidates want one thing: power for the sake of doing business

The GOP then wants that power to use for its lobbyists, and the people are relegated to te scrap heap.

Thats what they have shown, and what they show now as a party.

The men of the people such as Hunter, in the GOP no longer have a voice. The people are disenfranchised. This is why the Pubbies cannot win, and why they have deserted the conservative wing. They have moved left so that they can have a chance to continue their lobbyist workings , and theres more money to be made from an America that is pluralistic, and multicultural, and openly,'progressive." in their view.(BARF)

In short the GOP has said," F**K the people."

Well, I pay the GOP the same respect in return.

I am sure Tom DeLay feels very much the same. I will watch what Tom does very closely. If he has advice, I may follow his lead.

It's not about Americans any longer...the world is their customer. We are just a second thought.

Tom may have some suggestions. At least I think he is still an American of the Republic and hasn't sold out to the world classes.

Let’s see, “All is lost, not a dime’s worth of difference, just as well off with Hillary or Barack, the Republicans are just as bad, your vote is a waste of time, the sky is falling, gloom and doom, Conservatives are checkmated.”

Your type is either a miserable, confused loser, or a lying fraud. Which is it? If you are one of those losers why even post? Do you want everyone to be as miserable as you?

I’m not certain about the reference to the RINO but I’m one of the 1980’s Reagan Democrats that later switched to the other party. I’ve always been a Conservative/Libertarian.

By the way, what is the relationship between Candor7 and Earthdweller? And how many others are linked to you?

You know what..you are full of it. You haven't done one lick of research on any of these candidates. They are all just as liberal as the dems.

One of them has even been so bold as to claim that he will carry the banner for the gays because it will take a republican to do it for them. Americans overwhelming reject this.

If you want to come to our playground and discredit us you had better come with something more than a shiney wit and an as$hat.

Pitiful or pathetic is right. How many handles do you have on FR? Have you ever posted on DU or some other left wing site? Have you ever actually voted for a Conservative?

A fairly good percentage of our malcontents posting the “end of the world” crap are really allies of George Soros and others of his ilk.

Jesus said you will judge them by their fruits. I believe that.

“Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit, but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.” Matt. 7:15-20.

Why don't you ask Jim Rob? He knows everyone here.

Oh..maybe you better not since he might find out that you are a long time troll.

Go preach your liberal government control crap on DU.

I won't vote for McCain. I'm even starting to wonder if having a Democrat in the WH, as opposed to an anti-conservative Bush or McCain, might not be in better interest to conservatives.

We've been sold this "You must fear Hillary!" by the elites in the GOP to keep our support while they kick us in the teeth. Would we be better off in opposition to the WH, or support a WH that constantly betrays our interests?

I DO know that mcCain is much worse than Bush. And one undeniable thing--McCain supplies a figleaf for chickenhawks.

Like Teddy Roosevelt, start a party like the “Bull Moose” party.

If I get an open borders traitor, I will write in “Bullwinkle.” (This means no McCain, no Hickabee, no Julie-Annie)

Start the Bullwinkle party...

Does quoting the Bible make me a weirdo?

I’ve been around FR for over eight years and if you studied my posts you would find I’m a consistent Conservative/Libertarian that always supports the most Conservative candidate as the opportunity presents itself. Unlike some here I believe what I post.

You’re assuming that Republicans will vote for McCain. I know too many who won’t because of his stance on immigration.

After 8 years of democrat rule...maybe the republican party will again see the value of the conservative voter.
I don’t think the republicans have a chance without us.
The liberal democrats will never crossover and vote republican no matter how “moderate” their nominee is and they are throwing our vote away by supporting a RINO candidate. The obvious result is a democrat President for at least the next 4 years.

I don’t know if Republicans will vote for McCain..but if they want a choice they had better hurry because Ronmey is looking at a huge advantage from the liberal starting gate.
