Some unsatisfied Republican voters, especially conservative ones, have threatened to sit out the Republican primary in protest. Indeed, within GOP circles it is not uncommon that one may hear the refrain, "I'd rather have Hillary or Obama win and start fresh than to vote for a RINO (Republican in Name Only) or some half-committed conservative."
Rants of frustration such as these, while understandable, are baseless

Because it probably is.
Agreed. If Hillary/Obama get into office, it’s all over...
Personally, I won’t vote for McCain. John McCain stands against everything this board was founded for - personal liberty and justice. It’s inviting the liberal fox into our hen house and I will not join along.
The field of candidates from both parties is a complete disaster.
Nice idea. But I'm not sure that Republicans have any ideas that I, as a conservative, can support.

Actually, I’m voting in the primary. Chances are that I am writing in for the general election.
Patton said something once about the French that may be what you were looking for:
“I’d rather have two German Divisions in front of me, than three French ones behind me.”
Ha! Awesome quote!
Illegal immigration is a terrorist attack.
Put me in the tantrum throwing, kamakaze flying, self-destructive republican column.

I meant the kind that creates mushroom clouds and fissile fallout. That kind.
I need to take a look at Romney’s record on that. Thanks for pointing that out.
“Its inviting the liberal fox into our hen house and I will not join along.”
If having McCain or Romney is the best we can hope for, it’s all over already and the last thing to do is revolt.
I agree with you. I cannot vote for McCain after fighting the amnesty bill. I just can’t.
Truthfully, I just do not like the man.
