Huckabee says he's in two-man race

Mike Huckabee, who has won in Alabama, Arkansas, and West Virginia and is competing for several other states, declared tonight that he -- not Mitt Romney -- and John McCain are competing for the Republican nomination.

Saying there's been a lot of talk about a two-man race, Huckabee said, "It is, and we're in it." He told supporters in Little Rock, Ark., that he is doing well "to the amazement" of a lot of pundits.

"And I also want you to know, that as long as there's still votes and delegates to be won until that magic number of 1,191 there's going to be one guy answering the bell every time there's a new round."

First presidential election I'll be sitting out. There's no way in he77 I'll vote for any of these pretenders.

MH has close to the number of delegates as MR. But the real eye opener is looking a the popular vote totals for D’s and R’s. Way way more D’s voting then R’s, very bad news for the GOP in nov.

It is a two-man race and way past time for Willard to quit.

Why? So it'll be a one-man race?

A vote for Huckabee ain't nothin' but a vote for McCain by proxy.

I am looking at the CNN site they must be lagging.

They are also reporting JM is getting 50% of the CA vote - barf!

The polls had MR 7-10% ahead this morning - barf again!

It’s the Billary tag team vs. Obama and the McHuck tag team vs. Romney. Go Mitt and Obama.

again and again you have to look at the big picture. Romney is all tactics (major tactical advantage with all the money and talk show hosts) and no strategy. McCain and Huckabee employed asymmetrical warfare, just like how we took over Afghanistan.

Unless he wins in California, Romney has lost EVERY key battleground state. There is no path to the nomination for Willard left.

All he has become is McCain's stalking horse, dividing the conservative vote and allowing McCain to beat Huckabee.

So does that mean that McCain’s little lackey will actually criticize him for once? This man and all of his fellow religous bigots in the south should be ashamed of themselves for playing the anti-Mormon card. I hope he and McCain will run as a ticket in the fall, so it will be a double pleasure to see them both get walloped in the election. Nice going Huckachump. You and McPain deserve each other.

I’m hoping Obama vrs McCain, then maybe a real third party will get into the act. Both Obama and McCain are more liberal then the hilabeast.

you will see. Mccain will probably pick Fred and keep the conservatives with him, all 3 legs of the stool, and still keep his appeal with the independents. That is how Mccain will have the best chance to win in the general.

So much can happen over the course in the time leading up to the election. Someone may get really sick a plane could crash, gigantic scandals can be exposed-you just never know.

I will never, ever vote for McCain no matter what he does, and I’m not alone on this fact!

true, but it seems D’s are out voting R’s almost 2 to 1. That is not a good thing. NY for example 1.5 million D’s 400,000 R’s. Similar for most states I watched. GOP is in real trouble.
