If McCain get the nomination we have to vote for McCain, at least we can pressure him to elect good judges.

If McCain is president, the conservatives will have to hold his feet to the fire from the very begining. McCain will have to know that we will not be bullied.

Look at how code pink leads the Democrats around by the nose. They are not afraid to make their demands known.

We hae to let McCain know that we are not buying his I am a conservative routine and we will make demands on him.

The biggest irony here is that Hugh Hewitt & FReeper upon FReeper have been telling us how a vote for the #3 guy is a wasted vote. (Well, I guess the Romney voters have fulfilled their own prophecy...they did waste their vote...otherwise, those "prophets" who have been telling us that all along need to declare themselves as false prophets)

The GOP Candidate looks to be McCain. A guy pushing a $ .50 a gallon Fed Gas Tax Hike to fight they myth of global warming.

Now if the GOP cannot even hold the line on taxes why should we even bother showing up at the polls in Nov?

Gang of 14, McCain-Kennedy, McCain-Leiberman, McCain-Feingold Stem Cell Research, right down the line McCain has betrayed virtually every supposed Republican value. What are you voting for? The War?

Let see. You HONESTLY think Mr “Use the Baker Commission to negotiate a deal for us to surrender Iraq to Syria/Iran while closing Gitmo and give the terrorists the legal protections of the US Constitution” McCain is going to ever going to fight with his good friends, Ted Kennedy, John Kerry and Russ Feingold to continue the war?

But I still have no dog in this fight.

Yeah, I understand. My dog left a while ago.

Then it is time for me to find a new party.

The whole Super Tuesday election is like a gigantic pentagonal sh!t sandwich with five political rallies each trying to convince us all that they control “the good end.”

Pfffft.

A valid point but George Allen didn’t run a good senate race, either. I watched all the speeches tonight they were weak and boring. I’m afraid our system is not bringing forward tough intelligent people.

“Romney’s “identity” politics is in some ways carrying him much further than Huck. “

Southern identity is as much about hating Yankees as it is about eating grits. The Southern vote went far today.

I think our best hope for 2012 is Bobby Jindal. Hopefully if he performs well as Governor in Louisiana, he is going to be a very viable candidate.

The one thing we learned for certain tonight is that we are screwed in November. The Dems have two strong candidates, we have three weak ones. I can't stand McLame and Huck, but it's clear Mitt is weak in the South and how the hell will a Republican win in November if they can't win the South?

The post was about GOP vs democrat turnout. That’s what I commented on

No you specifically posted about "how we are all savaging each others' candidates on the GOP side." If you really think any of the candidates you mentioned are conservative, it is easy to see why the GOP is through.

It was not good news for Romney today.
But it was very good news for me and many of you!
Now it is confirmed that U.S.A. is dumbed down significantly!
And that makes it easier to rise to the top!
The competition is weak!!

FR didn’t embrace Mitt. But I’ll take a new convert to Conservatism and hope he is genuine over a liberal who despises limited government like Huck or McCain any day.

Hmm...interesting question there...what if Mitt's next run is as a Bay State Senator...(Why I can see his social positions' shift to the left now)

Under the right candidate we do have the issues. But we will never have the “pure” candidate. We will lose for perfect purity.

romney was never viable. Now we just need to stop Hillary and Obama. I give John McCain a lot of credit. I vote for him.
