Good morning, sionnsar.

I’m excited to be going to my first ever caucus. We didn’t have such things down in California.

I’ll be very surprised if everyone at the caucus is not herded into supporting MacMexico.

That’s what I’m afraid of. And Huckabee isn’t any better.

I was at one time really looking forward to this day when I could go in and cast my vote for Fred Thompson, then that dream faded. That left my 2nd choice Mitt Romney, but that idea vanished this last Thursday. Now what? I despise McCain. I probably will vote for him in November - but for the Caucus and Primary I really do not want to do him any favors. I still don’t know how I will vote today? Should I even go? Ahhh maybe I still will. There are the free cookies and maybe will have a little entertainment if Ron Paul people show up.

I think I’m going to let my heart tell me who to vote for. Out of all the candidates still running or not, which one do I think comes the closest to my level of conservatism?. The one I feel would of made the best nominee, and that still is Fred.

I noticed that the West Richland Democrat caucus meets at the Islamic Center. Kind of caught my eye when I saw that.

Any 47th Distict Freepers going? If we had better ski weather you can bet I would skip today. I keep asking myself what’s the point?

I will be caucusing in Issaquah for Mitt. Kirby Wilbur (KVI) lives in Duvall and will be caucusing there - not sure what precinct. I believe he was pro-Romney and he indicated on the ratio yesterday that people should caucus for whomever they wanted, including Romney. Since Romney ‘suspended’ his campaign he still keeps his delegates, which may give him a seat at the table in pushing the party and McCain to some more conservative viewpoints on certain issues. Also, since he is leading Hucklebee right now (though Hucklebee is staying in and expected to get some delegates in some of the remaining states) if anything happened to McCain, or for some reason he had to drop out, then Romney could get back in (long shot). At any rate, I think it would be good to let McCain know that some of us still support Romney and not him, just because he’s leading and that we’re not just going to immediately hop on board the Sometimes Straight Talk Express.

I’m still caucasing for Mitt and they can suck on it if they don’t like it.

Where in Issaquah? My caucus is in the lakes region, so I am going to be at Tahoma Jr High. I am a PCO in the 5th. I have been seriously considering skipping ... but may go and support Romney. Got push polled by Huckleberry yesterday ... what a sleaze.

“if anything happened to McCain, or for some reason he had to drop out, then Romney could get back in”

Good point.

By the way like me, Kirby was a big Fred supporter, until Fred started dropping out of sight and was not interested in an on-air interview with Kirby. He then turned to Romney as our next best hope.

I’m in the Hunter precinct and my caucus is being held at Clark Elementary. BTW - were you at Issaquah Salmon Days at the Pubbie booth? I was talking to some men there and 1 said he was a precinct chair - I mentioned freerepublic and, I’m thinking it was he that said he wasn’t aware of the site. I gave him the web address and told him he should check it out - lots of good info and discussion.

I had planned to go, but with Romney out of the game, I see it as pointless.
