Spamming hatred against Romney will not win you the support of anyone. Most conservatives were able to see through it in 2008, and it will fall completely flat in 2012 now that Romney will have better name recognition and established networks.

Enjoy your campaign for throw away candidate Huckabee, who showed the world why we never need another dope from hope, regardless of party. It’s also very telling that you are still focusing your words and efforts on someone not even in the race still. Kind of makes it look like your candidate is just weaksauce.

HILLARY is better than McCain for God’s sake...

Folks who say things like this may as well be wearing an "I'm an idiot" t-shirt.

Huckabee is no better than McCain. He may not be worse, but he isn’t better.
I agree. And putting aside the argument that it's better to have a demo than a rino and just considering electability and the chances of the R party in November, I think McCain's chances of beating Obama are less than 50-50 but I think Huckabee's chances of beating Obama are less than 1-99.

If Huckabee were to win the R nomination (an event which I think is a 5-95 losing bet), then he would certainly get creamed in November.

McCain might get creamed too. But it's not as certain. He does have that lil'ole war thing going for him, which could just pull it out for him.

Huckabee has zilch, nada, zip, nothing.

But let him continue soldiering on. I'm not against that. More power to him if he can get some more delegates and have some more voice at the convention.

But the nomination is over. McCain is the nominee.

Rove gets his amnesty whether it is a dem or rep. Then he can get his lobby slot for the Mexican gov't..

He and Bush will go down in political history for delivering the GOP slaughter of 2008.

Tyson connection?

This just in: politicians need money. That people give them money does not mean they are bought and paid for.

Mc Cain’s record is out there, he’s run for POTUS before and has been in the national spotlight for a long time, all his flaws are there to see. Huckabee’s record has not yet come under scrutiny, the MSM hasn’t yet gotten around to his colonoscopy yet, but they will. Huckabee is no better than Mc Cain, he’s allegedly more pro-life but he pardoned criminals in Arkansas more than all of the neighboring states combined. More pardons than Bill Clinton did as Governor and Bill was Gov for 2 years longer than Huck. Rule of law means something to most voters, it’s bad enough that SCOTUS may get rid of the death penalty for these monsters. Life should mean life. If you’ve murdered someone in a horrible fashion you should never see the light of day again. For example, Huckabee pardoned a criminal named Glen Green who murdered an 18 year old girl named Helen Lynette Spencer. Green beat her skull in with nunchuks, ran over her with his car, raped her still warm body and threw her body in the bayou. I have 2 daughters and I can’t stomach pardoning someone like this. Huckabee angered many law enforcement officials and prosecutors with these pardons. Victims families needless to say are outraged, they will make their voices about Huckabee heard. The MSM is saving this stuff in case Huckabee gets the nomination. Should Huckabee get the nod look for an endless stream of victim stories strarting in about September. I don’t think American voters will ever elect Huckabee when the truth about him comes out.

“Once he hits 1191 he will dump social conservatives.”

That’s what I’m afraid of, but I think IF we can get him to make some promises, MAYBE we can hold him accountable for some of them.

What a mess we’re in. People are voting for name recognition, rather than doing their research.

We get the govt. we deserve.

“What would ‘forcing’ an open convention gain anyone? If he could get votes, he would have gotten them by now.”

If the race gets to an open convention, Governor Huckabee will have proven he can get votes.
