But compromise is impossible when you have a fundamental differences about the proper way to solve a problem.

Even more impossible when you have fundamental differences on what the problems are!

So little is really known about this guy, who mainly spouts beautifully framed platitudes, that the Dim base is projecting their ideal candidate on him.

Yeah, sort of like the deaf-mute guy in The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter -- he didn't speak but looked kind and serious and everyone just projected their own hopes and longings on him.

It’s easy, Obama brings HOPE back to the country and offers CHANGE. He’s also for the FUTURE. It’s a great combination.

I think that having hildabeast and obammarama in a tie going into the convention is the best result, with hildabeast cheating to win the nomination...

I've done what I can to help her, hehehe. Remember, Texas is an "open primary". The dems picked our candidate for us. I'll do what I can to "help" the dems! If that "help" ultimately results in a melt-down at their convention, well, so be it! Good popcorn!

You are exactly right.

Don’t shoot until you see the whites of Obama’s eyes.

Medved is helping Hillary. Yeah, I’m talking to you Michael Medved!

We all need to chill out on Obama until he slays the Hildebeast.

I think part of Obama’s appeal is that he speaks very well, and speaks in enough generalities that people come way thinking they support his stands on issues

Clearly, he's a gifted speaker. However, he speaks in nothing more than platitudes. How can one support his stance on any issues when he never mentions them?

Yep. The key to beating this guy will be to define him for what he is, a far leftie, but do it in a way that deflects to the maximum extent the inevitable charges of racism.

Epitomized by Susan Sarandon:
Longtime liberal actress Susan Sarandon gushed about her support of Barack Obama, saying she definitely would vote for him for president. Then she added the capper: "I can't wait to see what he stands for."

Tom Lykis had a segment on his show yesterday called “Chicks on Politics”. He asked female Obama supporters to call in and give their reasons why. He ended up roasting them, particularly on universal health care (”who’s going to pay for it?”).

“but do it in a way that deflects to the maximum extent the inevitable charges of racism.”

Are you for real... That is impossible because Obama is running as the candidate of entitlements to the victims, the underprivledged and minorities. The first time you question a single entitlement program you are going to be accused of racism and not wanting the low income min to get ahead ... This is a no win for Conservatives... Obama’s team led by his very own version of Che Guevera (Jesse Jackson) are waiting in the wings with baited breath.

obama would simply say to the iranians “yes we can”...problem solved, what a guy !

Ahmadinejad’s slogan in his election in Iran was “It’s possible, and we can do it” . . . no kidding.

The mullahs in Iran would consider Barack Hussein Obama as a Muslim who has strayed from the reservation and became a “Christian.” Such a conversion is punishable by death in Iran.
