The decision would depend on the federal Judges they can make any decision they want and if they are of the left they may make a decision that is not in the favor of John.

I suppose some lefties will get this taken to court right around Nov 1. Close enough to threaten the legitimacy of the election.

The people who wrote the constitution did not believe in having military spread across the world. Don't bitch at me, you need to take it up with them.
If this is so then why, pray tell, have we had a navy throughout our entire history and why did we send our first foreign expeditionary force out at the end of the eighteenth century to fight the Barbary Pirates in the Mediterranean?

Navy forces were suppose to go there and get the job done and come home. Women stayed home at that time. However the founders thought the man purpose of the navy was to prevent invasion. Ever read any??

You made the statement that our founders never intended us to have our military spread around the world.
So from what I read, you think having our military out of country is wrong.
If I misinterpreted what you said I apologize.

I’m not supporting McCain, and the new york times isn’t making me defend him.
I’m speaking of all children born to military parents stationed over seas.
And it it’s moot point why would the times write such an article, they want to put the question in people’s mind that McCain may not be a natural born citizen.
That’s like saying some one murdered a person, and then saying it doesn’t matter if they did or didn’t, you let the cat out of the bag and put the idea into some one’s head.
and did you notice that I never mentioned McCain’s name at all?
So please, think before you flame.

born there two years after it became a state...--and Barry Goldwater was born in Arizona before it was a state.
The big problem here is that in 1936 the Canal Zone was considered sovereign US territory. The democrats made a big stink in the 70's to convince everyone that it was not a US territory. Now, the government of Panama considers anyone like McCain to be a Panamanian.
If elected, McCain would be the first president with dual citizenship.

Born on US soil to US parents in the US military...this is ridiculous.
Got to agree with you. It is more than ridiculous.

Born on US soil...Whether it was US soil then (not everyone agrees), it sure as hell ain't US soil now.

Just like the leftists. Saying that if you are born to a military family, you are not an Amercian!
I think this should be the new attack on the NYT. I buy the paper for my neighbor every day because we do not get delivery of the daily NYT. I feel dirty every time I pay for it.
