Got a couple of nice hugs from my girls for Fathers Day....and a really nice lounge chair for the back yard so I can heal up (like I like to) outdoors.
....and the hugs are the BEST part of Fathers Day.

Hugs and a lounge chair? That’s good medicine.
Do you remember that episode of The Waltons, when Grandpa was recovering from illness, and they moved his bed outside so he could be around the family and have fresh air. The doctor was not pleased, but by golly, it worked!
Happy Fathers Day!!!
BTTT
prayers continue
Redrock, All the best this father’s day and may the Lord bless you in your recovery with many more father’s days to fondly remember.
that's good, looks like that Vitamin D is good for all sorts of things
Thanks for the ping to the update, and prayers continue!
BTW, Vitamin D is supposed to be good for the immune system, and the best way to get it is to relax in the sun wearing clothes only for modesty’s sake. In other words, the more skin exposed the more Vit D, because the body makes it all by itself! :D
Happy Father’s Day, Mike. Glad to hear you’re doing so well.
May God bless you, redrock, and all the fathers on Free Republic!
Happy Father’s Day, redrock. May you have a beautiful day with your family.

Redrock remains on my daily prayer list, with high hopes for a full and speedy recovery.
Happy father’s day, redrock!

God Bless and Happy Father’s Day!
Good stuff ~ way to go!!
Happy Father’s Day, Mike....I LOVE the gifts that you got!
Good stuff...!
Happy Father's Day, Mike ~ And may the Healing hand of our Heavenly Father rest mightily upon you, bringing you healing and health through the Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Thanks for posting these encouraging words from redrock. Prayers continuing.
It’s early morning in the UK, America is still asleep, and a prayer goes up of thanksgiving and for continued healing for Redrock.
I was (about 8 years ago) ill for a long time after a major op so may I just give this little advice? Recovery days are days of grace. Soak up the love of those around you and feel the closeness of the Lord. Be patient, let the healing go deep, don’t rush.....(that last bit of advice is easier said than done!.
