The youth and his lawyer Edward Paltzik say the charges are trumped up.
In fact, Paltzik insists that teacher Sharon Cantante, like Gilda Radner's Lisa Loopner on the old "Saturday Night Live" skit, didn't mind getting a few noogies from the boys.
"She had this very bizarre tendency to invite students to give her noogies," Paltzik claimed. "This teacher has a history of encouraging noogie behavior."
The teen is taking his case to the state Appellate Division. The Mirenberg camp showed a photo of the eighth-grade teacher smiling broadly while absorbing a male student's noogie.
The 39-year-old divorcee seems completely at ease while getting the knuckle rub.
Oh hell, busted, hubby is a sadist. *rolls eyes*
Well, it’s almost always the more physically stronger person who gives it to the “weaker” person. I think when a dad does it to his son, it’s just good old fashion horse play.
A sadist? Oh hell, is that what I am? I do it to my kids all the time. Although there’s no headlock involved, I don’t do it with any pressure, my kids are 21 & 16 and stand 12” and 8” respectively above me.
I also have been known to do it gently to my dogs. They seem to like the sadist in me, since the respond with wagging tail and a tongue swipe if I’m leaning down.
I thought swirlies were a form of humiliation?
For a second I read that as:
Honor student suspended for "nookie"...
It's when Michelle Nobama does fisting with Hussein Nobama!
what’s a swirlie?
in my day, it was the teachers who gave the noogies.
Stick somebody’s head in the toilet and flush it.
1. Receiving a noogie is an unpleasant sensation.
2. The person giving the noogie enjoys imparting this sensation on their "victim" and seeing the reaction.
3. A sadist is someone who gets pleasure from inflicting pain.
4. Getting pleasure from inflicting unpleasant sensations on people may not be full-blown sadism but it clearly has some similarities. There is the same quality of delighting in the misery of another person.
I think when a dad does it to his son, its just good old fashion horse play.
My young son likes to play fight but I would never intentionally hurt him for my own gratification.
better than a wedgie!
Noogie, Nookie, whatever, it all depends on the definition of “is”.
How about a tittie twister?
I got a noogie 35 years ago - now I’ve got a bald spot. I think that the noogie caused it. Who can I sue?
FBI says 3 in Boston office face dismissal Boston Globe

Three FBI agents were finishing a meeting with a female federal prosecutor in the federal courthouse in Boston in 2006 when one of them came up behind her, wrapped his arm around her neck and gave her a Three Stooges-style noogie, according to several law enforcement officials.
She may be chunky, but doesn’t appear to be guilty.
Lord have mercy. There are insane people running around FR.
Unpleasant? They laugh their butts off. Maybe the way you do a noogie or the way one was done to you, but this is loving horseplay I'm talking about not sadistic seeking sensations.
Go play with marshmallows or something.
Nuk, Nuk, Nuk.
