I held my powder dry and made sure I didn't say *NEVER* when voting this Novemember.

Like 99% of all other issues, I agree with you on this vote.

I'm voting for the true conservative, Sarah Palin.

If McCain is on the ticket... I guess I'll have to live with that.

“...... we have Reagan in the wings...”

and I’ll just bet he’s whispering in the ears of all conservatives in this land.

Now we need to get more Republicans registered. As I’ve been told, the Democrats have us outnumbered.

Though McCain's choice of Sarah Palin definitely got my attention, it is not the reason I will be voting for him. It is because of McCain's acceptance speech.

I listened to his speech and found that he offered absolutely nothing new. Well, nothing new for McCain. He said the same old thing he has always said. And it was then I realized that I could trust McCain. At least I could trust McCain to always be McCain.

There are few politicians we can trust to know where they will stand on an issue and even fewer that will not sell their out their ideals. McCain is one of those men. And though I often am at odds with his opinion, I will never have to worry about McCain selling out America.

That is why I am not voting for Palin nor am I voting against Obama, I will be voting for Sen. John McCain.

I got a call from some local RNC volunteer Saturday. He asked a few questions and when it got down to if I was going to vote for Obomber or McCain I said 'I wasn't going to (vote for McCain) but I am NOW...'

The phone guy laughed knowingly in response.

John McCain's bold choice of the unabashed pro-God, pro-life, pro-family, pro-gun, pro-liberty, small government, strong defense, fiscal conservative, Sarah Palin, signifies a return to conservatism within the Republican Party.

And the fact that Republicans and conservatives of every stripe, including the Christian right are flocking to her side and that the conservative grassroots has been re-energized literally overnight is proof that when offered the choice of truly conservative candidates, conservatives and Republicans will react accordingly.

Oh so true...yet every few years..so many, the Party have to relearn this simple truth.

I agree. McCain turns my stomach,I can’t even stand his voice, did not watch his speech. But I have to vote for the Governor. She is awesome.

McCain is a great man, a fact I only realized last week.

He has a temper, likes the dems too much and all that, but the fact that he would go out on a limb like this, say no to Lieberman and Ridge, I can only say, what a guy!

Jim, the morning after Palin’s speech I ordered my bumpersticker. For his choice alone, McCain deserves our vote.

“...I also think we may well be seeing a future POTUS in Sarah Palin...”

I agree and I’m especially glad that the first female president will be a Republican. I couldn’t be happier!

Let’s see — does that make me a sexist or a racist? sarc

I was going to vote for McCain, unenthusiastically, because Nobama would be such a disaster.

But with Palin on the ticket, I'm suddenly psyched! We may have found our very own Iron Lady!

“McCain owes a huge debt of gratitude to the conservative base who got on board with Palin long before the media tick off middle America.”

“This only shows that he owes the base a debt of gratitude and a return on our investment.”

I watched the speeches by McCain and Palin here in KC.

They both expressed gratitude for those who supported them before, and hopefully will after. Senator McCain took a pause in his speech, and asked for all Veterans to hold their hats high, after one veteran had been holding his hat high, and cheering, and gotten the Senator’s attention.

It wasn’t the fact that they both said what would be ‘expected’ at such a function, it was how they said it.

With openness, empathy, and sincerity. With that tone that “I mean it.”
