The Washington Post isn’t the only daily D.C. newspaper to rave about Sandra Bernhard’s anti-Palin ranting. Wednesday’s Washington Examiner joined in, with the headline "Comedienne delivers enraged optimism." Barbara Mackay claimed "in the end, oddly and subtly, Bernhard’s message is positive."
That’s not the impression you’d get from the blog of Theater J, where Bernhard is appearing. It has video of Bernhard calling Palin "Uncle Women," a "turncoat b—h" and a "whore." One complaint on the blog that Bernhard crosses a line of political incorrectness draws a defense from Ari Roth of Theater J that really drops the curtain on how coarse this show is:

Thanks - I generally refrain from commenting on people’s appearances, but will gladly make an exception when their ugliness is clearly more than skin-deep. In the case of Ms. Bernhardt, I’m convinced the ugly goes straight through to China.
Sandra Bernhard is the walking stereotype of an ugly, (internal and external) angry lesbian. They hate everything, so they must tear down anything that’s good and attractive. That’s liberalism in a nutshell. Liberals are unhappy people that want everyone to be as unhappy as they are.

Do these “C-List” stars basically say ANYTHING to get noticed? It’s bad enough we’ve got some “A-List” stars who think that their acting techniques alone merit them some kind of say in the world of politics, but now the media is going to waste time with this? I mean I agree that the world should know what a bee-yotch Bernhard is, but seriously there are so many, much more important things to report on. Of course, that would mean having to diss Obama, so I guess we know why they’re reporting this drivel.
I really, really wish the MSM would do some actual reporting, instead of just spreading gossip like in High School... OOooo... Did you hear, so and so is pregnant? Did you hear, what SHE said about HER? I mean it’s so incredibly juvenile. These people haven’t grow up a bit since HS have they?
Sandra managed to invoke blacks as primitive savage rapists, while being humorous about rape. Till now, joking about rape has guaranteed that the feminists will express their outrage. Let's see how they react to this.
