Even though the polls keep showing Obama ahead, it's obvious that he keeps falling back on preaching his base. Look at all the personal attacks, against Palin, against her family, against gun and bible clingers. These may work great with hard-core liberals but they all cost him with the vital Independent vote.
This may be the single great failure of Barack Hussein Obama's entire campaign: he is being lulled into thinking his stuff don't stink by trumped-up polls, and he just keeps talking to his own Democratic Liberal base.
Hey, BHO! The polls still say that 60% of the voters are very conservative to somewhat conservative. Your BS about tax cuts, providing more of our own energy resources to us, and really caring about jobs and our economy; well they don't square with your socialist tendencies and your entire past history.
I am not watching Fox News until after the election is over (barring some national emergency or something along those lines). I was sick to my stomach listening to them last night!! And I am a Fox News junkie - but no more!!!
As Rush says, the only poll that counts will happen the first Tuesday of November, every four years.
Pray for Joe, though I think he is doing great. Pray that he will get even more opportunities to speak the common sense that people have been needing to hear.

The great thing is he called the Messiah a socialist on ABC. Which means the MSM had to broadcast the negative point whether they liked it or not. Wonder if Sawyer realized how stupid she looked to the “average” American. “It’s only 3%.” It’s only 3% NOW - wait till Obambi doesn’t get the revenues he’s wanted - and Joe’s right - next year it will be $150,000. And the next year, it’ll be $75,000 (remember - that was the cut-off for single peple for a stimulus). Meanwhile people who pay NOTHING will be getting hefty “rebates” from the government every April 15th - much like the welfare recipients who got hefty checks from the government this summer.
That's what I've come to realize, and it IS sad. I always thought he was the best thing about Fox News. Turns out he -- and Barnes, Krauthammer, etc. -- are northeastern elitists. They loathe Palin, and they'll be happy as clams if Obama wins because he's as smooth and facile as they are. Sad.
