Prayers and admiration for your husband.

We really need to beef up our education of citizens on what a conservative is and how the Libs negatively impact their day to day lives.

I just watched Rick Davis--McCain/Palin campaign manager vs. Stuphy stephy on ABC--Davis was awesome!! He beat back every challenge that Stuffy fired his way and did it with class.

The difference between our side and theirs is so obvious its shocking.

I think you are being overly cautious, but who the heck knows?

I’m glad my husband has 4 guns and I wouldn’t mind it being known.

You know the saying, don’t pick a fight with an old man, he can’t beat you, so he’ll just kill you.

NRO has been such a disappointment ever since Bush became president.

NRO. like Weekly Standard, and Fox News, are peopled by folk who live in the Washington / New York "axis of weasels" corridor (even if they have homes elsewhere). It's beyond most people to maintain a stubborn allegiance to a cause when everyone else is 100% convinced that you're wrong and they insist on constantly reminding everyone of the fact... loudly.  They need to listen to voices like ours more often.

I think that was one of the reasons Tony was able to maintain his positions with such good cheer. He listened to voices outside of the axis, including ours. Rush spends very little time immersed inside the echo chamber of the axis as well. He has perspective that the folks at NRO, TWS and Fox don't.

If this turns out the way I think (and pray) it will there are a lot of people who are going to have to do a lot of soul searching. And some of them are going to have to find another line of work, as well.

Wonder if XM & Serius satellite are the main lobbyists for the “fairness doctrine”?

Your post rings true, and it is a sad indictment.

However, we can not feel sorry for ourselves- we must fight back.

I like your analysis too.

As an aside, a woman who works with my wife complained this past week that she wished she had waited to vote because she voted for Obama without realizing how bad he would be or knowing the positions he stood for. I suspect this person won’t be alone as buyers remorse sets in for normal voters.

I hope some newspaper folks are going to have to find another line of work. Our local paper, which serves a very red State, endorsed Obama this morning. I just cancelled our subscription. It felt sooooo good!

Bill Lee is the Delaware pubbie nominee for Governor. Lee ran four years ago and I think the election was stolen, yes I do.

Lee is known for being the judge in the trial of Thomas Capano, that well-known now obese murderer of Fahay...forget her first name. the fine, fine Capano didn’t think Ms. Fahay should be allowed to break up with his happening self so he killed her, put her body into a large cooler and Thomas, with the help of a brother, dumped her into the ocean.

The Capanos are big plumbers here in Delaware and note that aforementioned husband of the IV pole works at a plumbing supply place. He says all the Capanos are assholes and by me a family that helps a brother dump a body at sea and a mother who hides the monster from the cops...well that’s pretty bad.

But that’s an aside. I chanced to sit down for two hours with Bill Lee and share some crabs at a pubbie fundraiser a few months ago. Kinda cool. We talked a lot about the Capano case as I’m a true crime buff. But, of course, we talked about politics as you might find this hard to believe, but I know about politics. Heh. Just me and the pub nominee, sitting, eating crabs, talking.

The Dem nominee is currently the state Treasurer, Jack Markell. I think Markell’s going to win because the Lee campaign is not effectively connecting this, well the word charlaton comes to mind, to the current corrupt gubernatorial admin, specifically that of the big dyke Nanny Minner.

The pubs in Delaware, man....they are all freaking DEMOCRATS!

Oncit this election is over and oncit I get husband fixed up I’m going to roll up my sleeves and do what I can to change the tide. It’ll get easier folks as Obama will be prez and he’ll mess up so bad that it’ll be like taking candy from a baby to turn the tide of countervaling forces, quoting my buddy Thomas Jefferson, to the conservative right of center.

It’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

November 8th is it?

Hmmmmm. Do you know where the pubbie headquarters is in Georgetown? Got a big blue elephant on the side of the building?

I might be able to get there but gotta time it so it’s between IV’s for the hubs. I could meet you at the GOP headquarters.

Freepmail me.

I thought I heard Rove say something that sounded strange. He juxtaposed the word “us” against his comments about the McCain campaign. I don’t remember the exact sentence, but didn’t sound right. Totally threw me off.
