Edited on 11/04/2008 3:15:04 PM PST by Jim Robinson. [history]

Set your page results preference to 20:

1.) Click Account at the top of any of the latest posts pages.

2) Click My Preferences.

3.) Click 20 results per page under Browsing.

Disable unnecessary sidebars:

1.) Click Account at the top of any of the latest posts pages.

2.) Click Manage blocks.

3.) Disable as many sidebars as you can. I left only the Browse by Forum, Breaking News and Front Page News sidebars on mine. You can reconfigure them again after the elections rush is over.

That helped... think I'll go get the nitrous bottle off the bike and inject it in here as well...

Thanks Big Guy!

you need to block out their ranges, and since they probably don’t have any members here, it won’t matter.

refer you to the info on post 64 (read the bottom) CHINA! “Why would they attack here?” I “wondered” about that too.

FR is so slow it is now useless.

Stop drinking the NeoCon koolaid here and move to www.timebomb2000.com like I did a year ago.

It’s a fast site with great conservative viewpoints and none of the Bushbots to deal with.

I would very much like to be able to get past the first page on my own “user post” pages. I sometimes need to research a past post, or I need to find a source for a table to re-post, and it takes too long on the “my comments” page.

Thanks for listening.

BTW...I can get to more than the first page of everyone else’s “user post” pages. Kind of curious!

I put my setup back to the way it was but I’m afraid that is all I can put back to the way it was.
