On Shepherd Smith's show, Carl Cameron reported that the McCain campaign was highly critical of Gov. Sarah Palin, accusing her of:
1) Not knowing Africa was a continent.
2) Not prepping before the Couric interview.
3) Getting emotional over criticism.
4) Didn't know what countries were in NAFTA.
5) Was prone to tantrums.
Among other things.
LET US "KNOW THEIR NAMES."
Rumors have sprung up that they are Romney backers (which would seem thematic, considering their smear campaign against Mike Huckabee and John McCain). Is there verification?

All those Mitt and Rudy people trying to discredit her now.
We need to make sure we rally to her over the next 4 years. Also we need to rally to every true conservative such as Palin and Jindal.
Cameron, Shep, and Neil are pantywaists. Look for these ninnies to begin cozying up to the others in a shameless, gutless style of pandering. At least you can say Couric, Russert, Brokaw et al never pandered to Bush.

Her appeal is secure, and the McCain campaign didn’t have a prayer without her.
Without Palin, It wouldn’t have even been a race. Instead of running a race horse, we ran a glue horse.
They also said that Sarah Palin said in response that she did everything that was asked of her and something to the effect of her surprise that such things are being said.
Shep, Carl, and McCain may not know it, but its actually McCain who is under the bus. And Shep and Carl.
Sarah’s been too nice to say so, but someone should pass them the word before they embarrass themselves any farther.
This is Romney’s crew.
If we don’t agree now that we’re ditching everyone who made us fight so much in 2008, we’re going to have a lot more problems in 2012.
Let’s ditch Rudy McRomney once and for all and move on. There are plenty of other suitable people that aren’t dealbreakers for anyone, so let’s pick from those and argue from there about which one is better to support.
If one of them turns out to be Sarah, so be it. But Mitt could really help us a lot more if he would get a residence in NV and run against Harry Reid in 2010.
Aside from maybe “not knowing Africa was a continent”, all those criticisms are equally valid when applied to John McCain himself. Talk about “thin-skinned”! If I had to hear how much he was wronged by GWB in Georgia back in 2000 one more time...
Palin has a future, McCain is done.

If this really is the McCain people, they will get what’s coming to them, starting on this forum.

I saw it too. Had to rewind and listen twice and no names of staffers were given by Carl. Of course Shep took all the criticism as being completely and totally accurate - he’s such a weasel.
I hope we get to know the names of the people who are trying to blame Sarah! It’s NOT her fault!!!!
Don’t worry about what the McCain camp says, Sarah!!! We still love you!!!!
