“Ive always found it weird that in every single picture of him playing basketball he’s always wearing pants while everyone else is wearing shorts”

This is quite understandable, those “playing” are dressed in the proper attire. Those who step in for a “photo Op” tend to be dressed in street attire. Conclusion, he ain’t playing, he’s posing.

hmm? 16% right direction all time low? 83% wrong direction all time high? Worse than any preivous time when incumbents got drummed out of office like 76, 80, and 92.

So the right direction/wrong direction is the worst its ever been in polling history and Bush’s approval ratings are the worst of any Preisdent in US history.

But all the smart folks know that it’s Sarah Palin’s fault McCain lost. Nothing at all to do with the above two numbers. It’s all her fault Bush is where he is and 85% think we’re on the wrong track. Please. There’s no way any Republican was going to win this year with those numbers. None.

For McCain to do as well as he did and avoid some McGovern or Mondale-esque wipeout was a feat and it shows the core stength of the GOP is still pretty strong. This is about the worst we can do. In the worst year ever under the worst circumstances and being outspent by 300 million dollars with the worst approval and right direction numbers and the worst economic downturn and so forth and so on, we still won 22 states(and came within less than 1% of two more, 2% of another, and 4% of a third), 175 EVs, and got 46% of the vote. Compare to huge dem defeats when they averaged 40% or less of the vote, 2 states, and 20 EVs or so.

Think about it. McCain ran 30 pts ahead of the right direction numbers. That’s remarkable. In 2004, 49% said we were on the right track and Bush ran only 2 pts ahead. 85% think we’re on there wrong track and Obama ran 30+ pts behind that number. Kerry ran +2 of the wrong track i 2004. Bush ran +17 of the wrong track on 2000.

McCain ran 20-25 pts ahead of Bush’s approval rating. Again, no one has even come close to running that far ahead of an incumbent’s approval in his own pary. Not even close.

Bush had 46% disapproval in 2004 and Kerry ran +2. He has 75-80% disapproval now and Obama ran -25 or more. If we eeked out a 51-48 win with Bush at 53-46 approval in 2004, is any relaly surprised we lost with him at 27-71 disapproval or worse this year?

These numbers show once and for all that Palin had nothing to do with this and was probably a major reason why McCain ended up doing as compartively well as he did. All these attempts to blame her and smear her are just by ex-Bush people mostly trying to deflect the blame from W so that the media spends all their time ripping Palin and blaming her and not talking about his disastrous numbers and effect on the party. Notice how you really haven’t heard much in the past week of “How much of this Bush’s fault?”, “Has he ruined the party?”, “Did Bush doom GOP to defeat?”. It’s no coincidence. It’s all by design to pin the blame on Gov Palin and distract folks from W. Unfortunately, the media bought it hook, line and sinker.

But Palin is coming off well in interviews and has tons of folks excited about the future and her. The last guy I can think of who had folks excited after a loss and ready to come back was Reagan in 76, and before him Barry in 64(not so much for him personally but ideologically). Not that she’s Ronnie, no one is, but that’s the last time that happened.

Hopefully these numbers will make folks realize the truth about Sarah and people’s attempts to destroy her.

If you are a communist it is heading in the right direction.

Americans are fools, they will now fall into the abyss. They can blame themselves and that would be correct.

Two-thirds of all Americans have a positive view of what he has done since he was elected president

Er... Did I miss something? Other than insult Nancy Reagan and dodge softball questions from the media, what has he done?

”Two-thirds of all Americans Democrats have a positive view of what he has done since he was elected president… There, fixed.”

Just doing the job of editing that American newspaper editors won’t do…lol

Maybe they should consider hiring a staff of ‘undocumented’ editors for a fraction of the cost.

For 8 years the msm has been beating down the USA to get the Democrats in office. Now they are amazed that the citizens actually believed all their gloom-and-doom reports. It would be absolute justice if all these news outlets went bust. The country would be so much better off without their daily propaganda poison.

Ok, what has he done besides ridicule an honored First Lady with a deliberate falsehood?

He has promised to bring the enemy combatants at GITMO to the US so they can get criminal trials under our laws - Where is the UN on that question, Barry?

Two-thirds of all Americans have a positive view of what he has done since he was elected president, and three-quarters think he will do a good job as president.

What has he done to get 2/3rd of all Americans to hold a positive view of him?

Did I miss something?

Okay, he makes a nice Kinko sign for an office that doesn't exist. What else? Oh, he flies back to Chicago. What else?

crickets, crickets, crickets
