...I think it is time to retire the word RINO. It's not properly descriptive and it's not useful. If you are a "Republican In Name Only"-- that is, willing to call yourself a Republican-- then "welcome to the Party, pal"! If you intend to work for and vote for our candidates, we're glad you're here. If you agree with us on a wide range of issues, the wider the better...

i agree!!! We need all the help we can get. People of FR throw around the term “RINO” too much. The word has lost its meaning.

The base word should be CONSERVATIVE.

Republicans are Democrat-lite now.

Many Posters on this site use the term to describe people who don’t support their favorite candidate. During the primary, the Mittens, the Hucksters, and Fredheads called each other RINOs. This sniping enabled McCain to sneak pass conservative opposition to win the nomination.

Sorry, can’t agree.

I know exactly what a RINO is. They should go join the Democrat party because they are more in line with their way of thinking.

I want the Republican Party to return to Reagan conservatism. No more McCains, thank you very much.

I agree. Let’s stop using the term “RINO” and start calling the socialists within the GOP what they are... socialists.

RINO has not lost it’s meaning. It means you hold few if any conservative values.

And we should use the term and purge the party of ALL RINO’s without exception.

We don’t need all the help we can get, we need to hold to our values and to hell with everyone else.

Fred was the favored Messiah on FR for about 3 days after he announced his candidacy.

It took a mere handful of days for him to lose his halo.

No person should dare run as a Repub.

The parsing begins with the first sentence. Shortly after you are a RINO.

The only perfect conservatives are those who vent away on their keyboards.

The terms Republican and Democrat are meaningless with todays politicians.
I use American or Socialist for all politicians.
You are either one or the other as far as I am concerned.

The word “RINO” has not lost its meaning to me. It means “Republicans who are (I)ntolerant, (N)arrow, and (O)ssified.” And I find that the ones who most like to use the term are the best examples of it.
